If dude wasn't stealing that cat, he would be alive still, and on the flipside, dude shooting and dragging the thief could have easily got out the truck with his gun and held the thief until cops arrived (ok since he was dirty the smarter move would have been to point the gun at the cat thief, put the fear of God into him, then drove away) but at the end of the day both guys learned a life lesson here
