5. Alternator might be spinning to fast maybe could use a bigger pulley on the alternator, some of them can’t handle high spins on a 1500 hp or higher motor.

I’m currently redoing everything on the 76 in my photo, repowering it with a 6.0 I just rebuilt with a 4L80 to go behind it I also went thru and upgraded, and sticking some eBay gt45’s on it for now. Have everything to get it together, just need to get the damn bodywork done. Have the floor cutout at the moment.

25. Alternator rated for RPM ?????? I met a man with an F40 Ferrari the car like to eat them because they have RPM related bearing failure. That would short the whole deal.

If you are over drawing amperage you either need to reduce load or up size your wire size but the very best thing you can do to automotive wiring is to run Isolated ground wires to everything you possibly can period if you run Isolated grounds you will see your fuel pump run faster your water pump will turn more rpm it is well worth the work.😮
