Who makes up the rules as to what language is offensive? I don't think it's the people to whom the terms refer. I've found immigrants to be some of the toughest people I've met. It's hard to believe they'd be offended by the term. Life is too harsh for such concerns. If it's a false accusation, I think it a legitimate worry, but that's a different thing. And why do the PC terms so often have almost double the syllables of the old terms?
