  1. Interesting that the GOP is up in arms about a Tik Tok/Chinese Government connection, but silent about their Presidential nominee's infatuation with dictators like Putin, Xi, Erdogon, Un and Orban.

  2. This Elections gets more interesting, If Trump or Biden Bans Tik Tok, I Will gain trust, but if both of them doesn't want to ban: Then there will be a third candidate

  3. The young Americans started to know what going on in the world and stayed away from fake news the government and congress want to control the people

  4. We need to take over congress and senate .. stop the foreign influence of Aipac and Israel .. why is israel so much controllish of our freedom !!!

  5. Republicans are bringing this up to help them get votes for Trump. Trump was for the bill, now he is against it. Biden is put in a position to vote for the bill and possibly loosing the support of a lot of voters.

  6. I guess the too many bloody photos of dead children on the streets Gaza that’s being posted on social media and the traction it’s gaining in the American public is slowing down the genocide being committed….
Let’s ban TikTok they say .

  7. It’s science proven that social media is just as addictive and bad for you as drugs and alcohol. I tell you what get rid of drug charges and dui charges and you can keep TikTok if it’s all about freedom then back it up.
Why should one addiction be legal and not other. When laws on drinking and driving where first introduced they same stuff was being said- true story

  8. Thomas Massie is pointing out this is bad and shouldn't be passed for all of the problems it could cause if it does. While I wouldn't be sad to see Tiktok gone, I don't want to see the social media I like be affected so hopefully it doesn't pass.

  9. China has banned all foreign social media from the Internet for a decade now to keep domestic competitors like Baidu and Tencent relevant. And here we are bickering over one app that is demonstratedly addictive and harvesting data. Good job.

  10. They want to ensure that the next time we are unable to do anything about any violations to human rights. They want to be sure they can control and sensor our online content so that. They are able to control how we feel, but we think that we care about what we value, and essentially assert their dominion of us.

  11. 2:16 I heard Marco Rubio actually, on The Hill Live’s coverage of the hearing, say that every business that exists in China is owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. 🤡💩

  12. This is a gateway to put all social media companies under the thumb of the Federal Government. That is exactly why in the bill they refused to name TikTok specifically; they kept it vague enough to be able to weaponize this to control all social media companies. This will be to social media, what the NDAA was to our civil liberties.
