I get what robbie is saying now. As long as it's not overt, you can and should be racist. Thanks Robbie. I hope all HBCUs follow suit with your idea.
Drivel.
Charlie Kirk is not wrong.
Kirk truly is a clown
Is Bri a diversity hire? What happened to the previous cohost? Bri talks over Robby, over and over again. When she isn't interrupting, she's filibustering. Her talk time vs Robbie's is like 75% to 25%.
I will say that Bri is right in that studies do show that people with black sounding names on a resume are less likely to be hired. She is right that the descrimination does exist. At the same time, we cannot solve racism by implementing racist policies. I agree with Robby that people should be hired and accepted into school with exactly the same criteria, no matter their nationality, gender, or color of their skin. At the same time, I do think that those hiring need to check their own biases to make that process non-descriminatory because often-times the discrimination is not intentional and is the result of inherent bias. If there could be systems in place to help reduce the impact of inherent bias then I'd be for that, but not in such a way where we are trying to solve unintentional bias with intentional bias by specifically trying to hire more people of a certain race, nationality, or gender, etc.
Aw. Bri. Love you. LOVE YOU.
Not your best look here. 💔 😢
This was actually very hard to watch. I kind of expected more from the hill. The frequent mischaracterization of Robby’s argument (consistently might I add) adds no more value to the discussion and I feel like I’m listening in circles for 10 minutes when a more productive debate could’ve been listened to in 10 minutes on other topics. I used to listen to the hill when it comes to debate topics but it is no longer enjoyable. This is my last time watching. Hope things get better in the future.
Robby is not being fair to her argument because we know why they are comfortable with one but not another.i do think Robby has good intentions but he doesn’t account for the consequences of race being a systemic issues but he is a white dude so i get it.
Bri is becoming tiresome..
What happened to Bri? She can’t even have civil debates anymore…
You have to go through FAA regulations to become a pilot
I find it very hard to believe that bri is too dumb to understand what kirk was saying.
Bri is a cognitive dissonance machine
Use Henrys real name not his fake one
This girl is terrible
Brianna just lies and filibusters to cover her lies
Bri is about to call Robby a racist ! I love watching this show because you see the truth come out in how both sides feel ! Bri tells Robby what he thinks instead of listening to what he really says .
Man, Bri is insufferable. I used to really enjoy the hill. I'd be surprised if you guys aren't hemorrhaging subscribers.
God bless Robbie. Bri is so thick and intellectually dishonest it's exhausting.
Robby has the patience of the gods, I can't even count how many times he got interrupted.
If United said "we are going to focus on taller employees" and you saw a tall pilot, you might be afraid that tall dude got pushed thru to fill a quota. They may well be a fine pilot, but the fear that Unites lowered their standards to get them in will creep into your mind
Bri is awful.
Oof. Bri makes this unwatchable.
Briahna, while the INTENTIONS of affirmative action were to elevate very qualified people who are minorities, that isn't how it has worked out. When people are looking at percentages of races in the general population vs percentages of races in a given field/industry/school, etc you are absolutely engaging in quotas.
While there are likely equal percentages of intelligent, talented, and qualified people across races, when you account for percentage of population, it doesn't mean that they are all distributed equally across the country. Not to mention that people are not going to necessarily flock to certain industries/schools in equal proportions. So yes, in some areas geographically and in industry, affirmative action could work effectively the way it was intended. But that doesn't apply equally nationwide or amongst industries/educational institutions. In some situations, management would be forced to utilize a quota system.
Spicy!!
Without really knowing behind the scenes, it seems like the chemistry between Briahna and Robby has soured. It was nice to see them let some of the ropes down a bit more on their debate, but it seems like the debates are going off the emotional rails more and more.
Fire Bri.
Bri is the goat 🎉
Why is it "wrongly and unfairly" to be skeptical of black pilots if you know they are getting ushered in WAY BEYOND what their size of population and IQ average justify.
Come on bri 👏🏾
