Senior leader of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri, was killed in a strike in Lebanon, fueling fears that tension between Israel-Hamas. On the 2024 front, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley surpassed Ron DeSantis in the national GOP average. In Iowa, she’s less than one percentage point behind DeSantis. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and 60 Republican lawmakers visit the U-S.-Mexico border, as Department of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas faces impeachment proceedings in the House Homeland Security Committee.

  25. Wait, why would USA's republican voters be put-off by a republican presidential hopeful willfully trying not to say the US civil war was mostly about slavery? Heck, if things keep going like they are, many more states like Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, +19 more, will not be teaching US atrocious history against minorities. If the states decide to keep these studies, they will start teaching the good lessons slavery has thought the USA. Including how slaves owners helped their "slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit," according to Florida's Department of Education Starndards in Social Studies curriculum (2023).
