Ya’ll are all missing the point. The point being that this is a hit job and nothing more. If anything it should be handled privately, which it was, and let go. Those that aren’t letting go aren’t letting go strictly because of the goal of the hit job, which is to get her gone. If you’re saying Harvard didn’t go far enough and it should get her gone, you’re endorsing the goal and intent of the hit job. Brie’s point is, if this is such an egregious departure of norms that should result in the severest of consequences, shouldn’t that same thing ring true for everyone that has committed similar acts? Why not apply the principle equally? Why this one case? Because it’s being pushed forward as red meat to the mob by someone leading a political hit job with a specific goal in mind.

Bri has become completely unbearable these past couple of months. She used to sometimes use logic and reason and the debate between her and Rob were sometimes good. Now all she does is cut him off, disrespect his points with no real rebuttals, and say that nothing he says matters because of Gaza. Its painful to listen to her give sermons about something totally unrelated to what he said instead of having any type of rational or journalistic integrity.

How can Harvard penalize any student for plagiarism after letting its president do it so openly and without any penalties? If I was a student that was penalized by Harvard for plagiarism I would sue.
