Watch this years ago.. just turned 18 and looking for a car now lol
So you telling me someone selling a car just so happens to have your name where the license plate belongs
Step number one look at the make of the car. Jaguar. Do not buy. You’re welcome.
Check and measure the size of the gap between wheel and wheel-well-liner for all tyres. That gap should be same for the wheels at same axle (i.e. front-left = front right and rear left = rear right). Any mismatch indicates that that car was involved in a serious accident.
Super helpful! I learned from Quora to use your fist to compare the space in the wheel wells, and sure enough, the car I was trying to buy had frame damage! Saved me a lemon
Bro it says Chris fix on the back lol
Your better off building a new one from scratch then relying on a warranty.
Price ?? Ha ha 90 % of these never have the price, they just have phone number , mileage and a few specs details
It should be bloody illegal to even display this without the price , oh and the No low ballers crap needs to end
Nothing worst than wasting your own and someone else time when they can’t be bothered to price it because they always come out offended, even when it says make me an offer because they are going to be offended when I say your car is worth x amount
No way it’s been 8 years brooo
I remember when this series first came out and I was waiting for each episode. Now, I'm in the market for a car after a hybrid battery failure. I can't believe I've been watching you this long!
I bought a CPO Mustang from a dealership two weeks ago and turns out the differential has been leaking for months and the drift shaft is unbalanced. When I had it tinted the shop told me there was two small dents in the car as well. Crazy. Shit dealership for sure.
Right now it’s in the dealership shop and hopefully they fix it for free or I’m going to sue them for malpractice. CPO should mean it has NO major issues other than regular wear and tear. Ill be using this guide from now on so I dont get fucked over like this again.
God bless you my dude. What a great help you are.
Used this video for a college communication assignment. Been watching for years. Thanks for making my assignment easy and enjoyable.
What?!! How about mechanical issues with the engine?!! 😂
I think best tip is avoid old European cars…money pits usually.
I can see why you're successful. Thorough and to the point. Great content. Thanks for the video.
Chris fix marry Christmas I wish you to make 10 million followers
From Kuwait love you
I thought the wheels looked great!
Crazy how someone got Chris fix plates 😂😂😂
3:35 it was at this moment that i knew that this guy’s from New Jersey
This was really helpful! What sort of things are you looking for during a test drive? I'm in the market for a used car now, and I'm not sure how to scope out a lemon during a test drive.
He has his name on the tags lol I love these videos though
Hi Chris, I want to say Thank you this video helped me buy my first vehicle when I was 21 through a car auction. I always look back to this video when I have family or friends who need help buying a used car.
Awesome. Thanks Chris. Going to look at a used car today and will be going through your checklist
“Literally the first time I’ve seen this car.â€
proceeds to show a Chris Fix license plate on the rear
😂
If it's a Jaguar just walk away no matter the price.
Came back again since I'm in the process of buying my second car. First one got totaled ðŸ˜
I was looking at car once and I started tapping the underbody. The alarm started going off but thankfully not for long🤣
this is a good guide to inspect but you are looking at a car for a pretty penny price go to your trusted mechanic cuz u will see better oil leaks when the car is lifted up high
Check tail pipe for black soot…may be worse than burning too rich…burning oil if wrong color.
That car has a Chris fix license plate hmm
The Link for the checklist isn't working, can anyone help me get a pdf or document file of that checklist? Thank you

Does buying a pickup use the same process?
Thanks ðŸ™ðŸ½
Where would we be without Christopher and his Fixations?
In addition to the knowledge from the videos, Chris … enjoy listening to hear a confident, soothing tone of voice !! 😇
Thanks ðŸ™
