This is the second test for Gumout All in One fuel cleaner to see if it actually removes carbon deposits. I use a mini borescope camera to look into the engine and see how dirty the engine is after the second fuel treatment.

CONCLUSION:
I followed the instructions on the container and Gumout fuel cleaner did a great job cleaning the shiny, sludge buildup, but did not work as well as I would have thought on the clumps of hard carbon buildup. Even after two bottles in a row, it did not clean the cylinders as much as I thought it would since they do say one bottle will clean the engine.

the real results come after the 69th bottle of gumout
I put the wrong gas in my Mazda, I accidentally put a 94 octane fuel and ever since I’ve had a horrible smell every time I’m stopped; smells like sulfur and exhaust. Do you think this will help?
Takes 7 to 8 my G
I used gumout in the gas tank and wow I got more power
I worked for a ferry corp at one time and diesels had a water wash on the turbo. you filled a little cup, screwed the lid on and pressed a button under full load and steamed her out.
It is not a one time Sting. You have to use it constant to see results.
It's the coolant that cleans the carbon my friend!
I don't think that it is realistic to expect any of these fuel system cleaners to work in one time use especially if the engine is very dirty…..plus they wouldnt make mush money of us if they did work the first time would they? If there is one out there that works the first time, it is more than likely very expensive…..
By the time the these are cleaned the buyer would be nearly broke? Back in 1976 I had a car come in that was banging when it was running at that time General Motors was having some kind of trouble and they had a cleaner that you fed through the carburetor then shut it down and let it soak? When I started it up the top of the pistons had to be clean as the engine was as quiet as a new engine? What did GM use?
Red Line SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner is supposed to be the best
I subscribed to your channel. What you recommend for code p0420 catalytic converter? I tried cataclean, then Rislone, engine light when off but now come on again. Don't know which cleaner additive use. Is a 131k miles scion iq. Any suggestions are welcome please.
These are better used as preventative measures than trying to fix thick baked on carbon deposits that can actually take a lot to get rid of.
What about for cleaning the fuel injectors ? Thank you, John
Did you get the same gas from the same station? Cheap gas keeps the carbon building up. But carbon is not the only reason to use it.
Liqui Moly is far better, there are videos with proof.
I don't believe the fuel additives will take carbon off Piston or valves. Even when taking apart an engine it is tough to wire brush carbon off internal engine parts. Even soaking the parts in cleaner doesn't do much. I do think it can help with the ethanol damage or helping injectors or carburetor internals stay clean. I love these videos.
I think you need to do a video for cataclean brother
Any brand better than this one?
Did the additive increase your gas mileage?
Does it help with rough idling?
Did you ever consider running the engine at high rpm for short distance. Do this actually driving car and not in driveway so engine has a load on it. Safer on engine this way. We use to call it "getting the gunk out," it use to work on older cars but I haven t tried it on newer cars. Might be worth a try.
As I said in your first video there is no magic potion that will remove 20 year old carbon as hard as concrete. Gumout should be use earlier in the engines life to remove early carbon and prevent future carbon build up. It's like fat people they eat too much for many years then spend thousands of dollars on pills some crook is selling, telling them that the fat will just fall off no diet or exercise required.
What would happen if you filled half your tank with nothing but “gumout†then the other half with gas …?
.would it clean it better and give the desired results ?
Let me tell you something I use gumout all the time and gum out makes my car run like brand new it cleans the carbon deposits and everything I have a 2000 Camaro and it's almost got 300,000 miles on it after every oil change I put gumout in it.. it cleans the carbons and dirt out of my gas tank before my car could barely make it to 80 miles an hour after using the gumout constantly it's now running 120 140 mph and faster… horsepower and torque restored only thing after you put it in if you go to a cheap service station like El Cheapo it's going to let you know it cheap gas with water in it will cause it to hesitate you have to go to service stations with good clean gas.. it also works great in my 2002 Firebird runs like a champ
I used stp in my 2003 Towncar
Doesn’t it make your car run better?
