  1. I'd like to preface my following question by mentioning that I've never swapped out a suspension before

Not sure if I'll even get a response as this video is almost a decade old, but is there a reason why you don't want to tighten down the strut tower bolts with the struts under load? Not arguing the method, but it seems like that would be ideal?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I know this is an extreme long shot since this is an old video, but trying anyway. Going to be replacing the struts on my 2012 Ford Focus soon, and I know that the ABS line bracket is missing on one side. Any tips on how to replace that? Can't find it with google searches. Thank you!

  3. I gotta say you make all of these daunting sounding jobs like changing struts look very easy with how you explain everything, i feel like i could do anything on my car cause of your videos

  4. Why does ever car you work on seem to be a rust bucket? Genuine question. Is it all because you are in the Northeast? I'm in Texas so I've never seen so much rust working on cars.

  5. Your videos are like my go-to boost of good vibes! Seriously, they're like this fresh wave of energy that gets me all pumped up and ready to tackle car stuff. Whenever doubt creeps in, I just hit play on your video about the work (even if it is not directly related to my car model), and immediately I feel like 'Yep, I got this!' Your positivity is contagious, man. You make everything clear and seems doable. Thanks for being the positive energy source I need to confidently dive into my car projects.

  6. Hi, I just wathced another video which says if you disturbed the knockle-strut bolts, the wheel alighnment is changed, and you will have to get it re-alighned aftewards. Is that true ?

  7. I have a Subaru Forester and I am thinking of putting in a lift so the car sits a little higher. Are there varying strutts to get a better quality ride?

  8. As someone who's done this job twice on a 2011 mazda 3 I think you can't understate just how finicky it can be to reinsert the strut into the knuckle. Maybe the pre 2009 versions like im the video are differennt but the knuckle definitely doesn't just slide back up. There's a lot of wiggling, hammering, shimmying and restarting involved. Keep that in mind, peope. You'll be able to do it but you'll hate yourself for a good few hours.

  9. Love your channel bro im doing this in mechanics course on what your doing your be surprised what you can do in les 1 hour once u know how to do it lol

  10. I like how he says you can tell if they’re bad because it’ll “almost feel like you’re driving a trampoline,” that’s what I’ve been telling everyone since I’ve had my car lol

  11. After replacing the two front struts on my car, I've noticed that it has become quite bouncy. What might be causing this issue?
