Two V8’s, and two belt driven superchargers on wide open empty stretch of road made for a fun for these two drivers! A ECS Supercharged C6 Corvette BATTLING it out with a Procharged 5.0 Mustang in a neck and neck back and forth show down. Both of these machines have very comparable power and were INTENSE watching to see who could edge out the other. Running around the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, we came across these two drivers eager to see which platform proved best! Close races like this are exhilarating, especially when it’s all in good fun!

Any word how much power the Mustang puts out? I've been watching other videos of Cammed Vettes for Coyotes, the Coyotes usually need about 100 extra whp to either keep up or take down Vettes making mid 500whp. I own a 2011 5.0L and while its a great engine I know the car has its downfalls.

Just cause it has more liters doesn't mean shit. Liters are meaningless people. Power bands, torque efficiency. Build up whether turbo, procharged or supercharged. Shit I'm not surprised that 5.0 ran the way it did. Those platforms are highly capable especially due to gearing and again powerband. That 5.0 spins up faster then those bigger motors. I'm a muscle car/pony car guy. I appreciate all of the V8's. But it comes from a physic stand point into why his procharged stang is able to beat out the big liter turbocharged motors. Good shit 5.0. Serious build and power for sure
