In todays episode were cutting out the floor pans, trunk pan, and transmission tunnel from the 240z to prepare it for mounting on the chassis.

Where can I get a body like this ?
We heard you liked 'car', so we cut the 'car' out of your 'car', so you can have more 'car' in your 'car'. Obs.

You should build a rat rod
great content man! Really enjoy watching ypur build from start to finish. Keep up the good work
You do you bro…….. Other body swaps I've seen done cut the minimum off to start from and then they trim minimum amounts until the body finally fits on the 'chassis'……
That intro made me laugh more than maybe it should have!
What about cutting the transmission tunnel out off the M5 shell? I supose it will fit the transmission…
3:10 you can see the body twist because he didn’t put any support braces in before he started to cut. 😂 this “build†is turning into a bust..
your new vid got taken down!!!!!!!!!!! reload!!! lol
Where's today's episode?
Your channel in growing so fast, no wonder with such good content Chris 😉
Why was the video from today removed ?
#Dashboard —-carve up a piece of foam to fit where the dashboard would go, then vacuum-bag fiberglass a one-off dash… lots of youtubes videos on how to do it?
… Would be interesting to see if you have any hair at all after attempting to make a dash from scratch
All honesty I love this channel i have watched about 90% of the product and its has come along way in the beginning it was a little rough. It sucks to see all of you bashing and trash talking I have heard him say very often I’m not a professional let’s see what happens. When mistakes are made you learn from that and get better again go back and look at the first vid there is no comparison. There are things we would all do differently but this is his car and he is driving.
Chris keep up the good work hope some time in the future you do some Honda work.
Can’t wait to see the future of your channel ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
I dont think he is going to finish this project..
I’m excited too bro, that thing is gonna be sick
what is this guys obsession with cutting the bejeezus out of 240Z cars…Amateur, and totally unworkable….
Dustless blasting uses water a pulverized glass media water keeps the heat down to prevent warping the metal and the glass is super abrasive to get everything off. Look into it.
How come you didn't weld supports in this time?
Chelsea to the rescue!
Hey man, I know your busy and I know you work outside at times. You gotta try this bug repellent. It's deet free and pet friendly. I'm going to talk to the guy about sponsoring one of your episodes. But yeah, I did email you. https://zonerepellents.com keep up the awesome work man!
good to see you getting back on the z, good luck!
Could you not cut tge fire wall all in one and mover it back aswell as mounting the seats further back with it
Hate to be that guy.. but why not use a caprice classic for platform, frame rails, suspension, etc and then donate the bmw engine to the frame and then marry the 240z onto the frame. The unibody to unibody swap seems like so much work. (3 months out to SEMA, you have your work cut out for you.) -best of luck
I think it will be good to use a sandblaster for this car to remove dust and paint
yep for sure Chris media blast the shell and prime it
bracing is supposed to be done before cutting you're going to have so much fun hanging the doors!!
Media blast is going to expose all the body work that the car will need. I bet its WAY more than you anticipate. I agree it should have been braced because now you need to fit all the panels and you SHOULD be test fitting a windshield before finalizing mounting and if anything is off you'll be in for some work. You can not rush this build. If you do, and you take to SEMA, people are going to let you know about it. This is a long term project, not like your normal builds.
