those "winglets" dont do anything except prevent a wingtip strike on landing.
youtube aviation experts……lol
keep it up, i love a good laugh.
This is going to be expensive. Especially for the pilot. No Jet fuel available at TOA. Have to call in a Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and then an Inspector to sign off on any repair and inspection. Though damage looks minimal but aircraft at this point is not airworthy.
I see a piss test for that pilot that day.
I'm just here to read all of the 'aviation experts' explain to us what the pilots did wrong.
ðŸ‘ÂðŸ™Â
He can't maneuver an aircraft on the tarmac? Is the pilot able to fly the damn thing safely?
I flew the R22 out of there, I didn't know this jet was allowed do to the noise abatement.. next time back it out without paper work.
0:55 EXPOSED. ahaha Shit, sucks.
I hope some professionals use your videos as training for their News crews now so they may learn how to report from scene properly like you do! Great photography and nice clean narration 10/10
Thats my private jet
Oh wait not mine! 🤣
Its a thankless job but without people of your caliber our public services wouldnt be in check
Great video Katman !!
Well who put that fence in the way anyhow!?
Citation Latitude owned by Ruscorr LLC and Netjets.
oh no it almost took out the YF23!
I could get him a pair of winglets for half the price… I know a guy
Ground crew surely towed into the fence. The jet is too close to vehicles to be maneuvering under engine power.
Brand new jet. Looked up the tail number. 2018 Cessna 680A Citation Latitude – Airworthiness Date 2018-08-07

Not 300,000. Maybe 30,000-50,000 for winglets, and that's a pair.
Why are ALL the cars in the foreground of the Mercedes variety?
Reprimand canned

Great Job Mr. Katman!!

Call an electrical contractor with a 2 inch pipe bender
That's a million dollar repair bill. All of the wing spars will need inspection as well as the wing root box. Somebody is going to get their pee pee smacked. That aircraft won't be going anywhere until a DER looks at the inspection report.
The style of wing uses what is called a blended winglet. The advantages of a winglet with very low drag for maximum fuel efficiency at flight speed while providing maximum lift.
no damage, the jet then went to Texas/Central America/Costa Rica. Owner makes cardboard boxes, very exciting.
Two doing work, six watching. Its the same all over the world.
Texting and driving
Pilot or the ground crew caused the accident?
The pilot needs to take it easy at the airport bar. Maybe only two shots next time.
Cool vid Katman. Very interesting.
Attention passengers, your flight has been delayed
doesn't even look like it cracked the light lens. Fault always lies with the Pilot in Command. Minor incident and nothing will happen assuming no failed drug/alcohol tests. Its tight ramp space these guys are dealing with and these things happen a lot.
I guess he can tell everyone he has been in a plane crash now.
lol
That I’ll be expensive. That’s a 1 year old Cessna Citation Latitude Model 680 like 15 million expensive. Not so much wiglets as the edge just curls up. Wiglets actually are at at about 45% angle. Maybe a bit less less
Ouch
