Anne Arundel County, Maryland  Shortly before 2:30 a.m. on September 17, officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to a residence in the 4100 block of Sands Road in Harwood following 911 calls reporting a domestic violence incident. While officers were en route, a 911 caller said the man involved in the domestic violence incident, later identified as 48-year-old Anthony Hopkins Sr., had left the house and fired several gunshots outside. When officers arrived on scene, they formulated a plan to safely approach Hopkins’ home; one officer drove a police SUV while two officers walked behind it. While driving towards Hopkins’ home, several gunshots were fired from a wooded area alongside the driveway behind the officers.
Some oft-hose shots struck an unoccupied police vehicle. Several minutes later, Hopkins emerged from a wooded area on Sands Road across from the entrance to the driveway, still armed With a firearm. Officers gave commands for him to drop the gun, but he did not comply. Hopkins raised the gun in the direction of officers, and Officers Z. Devers, K. Slayton, B. Dehn, M. Hanlon, and J. Metcalf fired at him, striking him multiple times. Officers and paramedics provided medical aid, but Hopkins was pronounced dead on scene. No officers were injured during the incident. The woman involved in the domestic violence incident was taken to a hospital and later released. The dog seen in the video during the shooting was not injured.

What blows my mind is how cops are called to situations and then get yelled at for coming even though they called crazy🤯🤯
Give that female officer a raise. Absolutely no clue how she seen him in the woods. That could have went so bad if she didn’t spot him in time.
Either the cops aiming sucks or this guy is some what bullet resistant
Did anyone order swiss cheese?
LO dejaron como colador jajsja
Man, fk being a cop in todays age, it’s modern day war for these men.
Smart dog, escaped crossfire.
Flashing lights everywhere
Dog: Hell yeah. Haven't seen a party in these neck of the woods since little timmy had that Kegger
Multiple shots fired
Dog: Holy shit! HOOOLLY SHIT! Not a party, time to GTFO!
Thank you so much for telling me the dog wasn’t injured. I’ve had enough heartbreak today.
The med kit isn't going to help much when there's 15 holes in your body.
Poor dog…….
Does that qualify for a screaming woman???…asking for a friend
Women cops…
stop screeching.. you sound hysterically scared sh!tl3ss.
Either this guy was the toughest m effer in the world, or these cops better get back to the firing range.
🧀
that's a fucking bullseye
suuuuuper creepy setting
Could have gone without the panicking woman officer screaming. Jesus Christ.
No one has a rifle???!?
"I got him"
Officer Dehn (Officer Eugene Tackleberry) at 11:37 didn't want to miss shooting. In fact, he needed to join shooting so badly that even a half a mile away he wanted to join shooting. Regadless that his fellow officer was almost in front of him and at 11:51 he was shooting while his fellow officer was almost at firing sector… Hitting with that semi-automatic pistol from that distance to your target, is a miracle. And I presume it was Glock 17.
wow that guy had a lot of HP
How many freaking times was that dude hit and he kept standing there???? That is some seriously amazing shit! How in the hell did he do that?? 😮😮😮
Who is that dog ?
shot first 64 times and then say drop the weapon? really?
He had to be hopped up a ton of sh*t to take that many rounds.
Either they missed most of these shots or he was high on something, that was an enormous amount of bullets for him to still be standing. That one cop that was cowering behind the pig mobile looked like he was at the firing range taking his time with them shots 😂
How many shots did you fire?
Officers: All of them.
When Police Activity goes Ghost Recon.
Anashe
Seems to be a thoroughly planned suicide. Get girlfriend to scream for help for a brutal DV incident. Cavalry arrives, suspect is in the woods and lets off a few shots. Gets everyone good and scared and backup on scene, march towards them and don't stop pointing the gun til dead. He lifted the gun a second time after the first volley, he was never going to let any other outcome happen.
Female officer for her squeaky shriek on.
I wonder how many shots were fired versus the number that hit their mark!?
They turned him into a pile of pixels
How many shots did you fire?
Glock : YES
Glad the dog escaped.
I respect her though.
Some half wit with an AR could have taken out half of those cops if not more.
This female officer needs de-shriekification training as far as her voice goes. When she yells her commands are unintelligible due to the high shriek factor.
Good thing the dog wasn't hurt poor little frenchie
