The Tucson Police Department held a press conference Monday afternoon regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 16. Police released officer body camera video from the shooting incident that took place in the 5600 block of East Pima , near the corner of Pima and Van Buren.
Carlos Alegria, 41, was shot March 15 after pulling a gun on officers, according to the TPD. The shooting happened in the 5600 block of East Pima Street, near North Van Buren Avenue. Sgt. Pete Dugan, spokesman for the TPD, said police received a call about a man, later identified as Alegria, with a knife who was being aggressive to workers in the neighborhood.
Dugan said Alegria pulled a gun, which was later determined to be a BB gun, on officers when they arrived on the scene. Officers Mark Molina, a 19-year veteran, and Gary Rosebeck, an 8-year veteran, both discharged their firearms during the incident. Alegria was treated at a local hospital and later booked into the Pima County Jail. He is facing three counts of aggravated assault and five counts of disorderly conduct.

this camera so f bad
Did someone film this on their tv from an episode of cops
2016 called, they want their bodycams back
This feels as if it was filmed in the early 90s, yet it's probably just the Tucson heat melting both the audio and video lol.
Cops flag the fuck out of each other all the time.
You people don't understand it's not his fault he had a condition were he has voices in his head that tell him to do bad things. Yeah he shouldn't have listened to them but it's difficult to ignore. I thank God everyday that he wasn't killed after the 8 times the police shot him. Imagine a 9 year old not having her father for 3 years
Plead guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in March of 2017. Punishment: 3.75 years for the disorderly conduct counts and 3.5 years for the aggravated assault count to be served concurrently. He was credited with 344 days time served.
1993 called.. it wants it's video and audio back.
vid of a vid? LAME
This is an older neighborhood in Tucson where gang activity is prevalent. The cops are always expecting something bad here.
"keep your hands up ! " " roll over !" " keep you hands up !" " roll over !" …
Potato cam
I saw no Tu-can Officer
Tucson used to be such a nice town. I wonder what happened to it?
If these people survive dose a psychiatrist evaluate them cause these fools are insane
We call him Robo cop
If I was a cop I'd be 51% worried that a criminal would shoot me and 49% worried that a cop standing behind me would shoot me…
Is he riding a horse to and from his bike?
Sooo why didn't they just tazed him LOL…
The officer with the body cam needs to learn about not pointing his side arm at his partners. Scary
Sounds like Iron man when he runs
Cops are chicken shits !!
sigh…
they say ''drop it'' too many times.
the weapon drops, the INSTANT the order is given or ill it…
PERIOD!
do not care about ''they feel bad'' or ''they are confused''
they comply to the orders given, the INSTANT they are given, or kill that worthless THING!
So now that more officers are wearing body cams what do you people expect this to resolve? Do you really think the excuses for criminal behavior will stop..Uh no these people think they are so entitled they have the right to steal and get that money….bad enough we pay for the unproductive democrat voters only to have it cycled back to their party.. From food stamps, housing, free college, affirmative action you name it it has produced the entitled culture..
look whos in control lol old white sheet
Roll over?? He's shot!!
1:20 "knife"
can someone tell me when most cities got bodycams for their officers cause I live in CO and they just recently started using bodycams but are having troubles with getting footage off them so I'm wondering if other cities got their bodycams for their officers earlier than CO?
Is it that hard to drop a weapon for some?
THE COP WEARING THE BODY CAM IN THE FIRST VIDEO IS A COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOT. HIS FELLOW OFFICERS WERE IN HIS SIGHTS MOST OF THE VIDEO, AND WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE FLANKED THE SUSPECT AT THE OPEN DOORWAY TO THE LEFT, HE DOESNT, EVEN AFTER THE COPS IN FRONT OF HIM DIRECT HIM TO DO SO, LEAVING THE OFFICER HE WAS TRAINING HIS GUN ON TO DO SO. THEN HE HAS HIS GUN ON THEM, AND NOT THE SUSPECT, WHILE THE COPS STEP IN TO CUFF THE SUSPECT. MORON!!!!!!!!
well at least this shooting was a clean shooting for the police has they did nothing wrong in this situation. just another idiot with the pistol in his hand out on the street with carloads of babies going by grandmother's driving by disabled people in the area this criminal could have killed dozens of people if it wasn't for the police being there to put an end to the Rampage.
holy freaking flagging
A certain element comes to mind watching this…..Sn anyone?
Dropping a gun isn't that hard :/
y do people not comply they know their aim is shit compared to the cops, but they are to retarded to realized that they will loose this fight.
Place your bets:
How long till someone asks why they couldn't just Taser him?
