On February 1, 2017 a young woman was carjacked at gunpoint in Albuquerque. Police officers quickly attempted to track her iPhone but the woman at first did not recall her correct login information. Once she did, however, Albuquerque Police Department kicked into overdrive.
This video opens with a one-minute introduction to the case, and then shifts to extended 1080p footage which shows the entire raid and capture of the suspect. Unlike most such videos available to the public, this complete footage provides insight into the thought processes of the officers as well as the many tactical decisions made in the field.
More to come.

this was my kind of video!!! a carjacking at gunpoint and abduction and armed police response!! A bad little trailer park trash scumbag is located and tightly tightly cuffed by a bearded gun-toting policeman with tattoos. The bad little scumbag is left bound and incapacitated in the corner of a crooked shop that is a front for local drug dealers and fat losers in red jumpers (with many many tattoos). wow wow wow
Nice crossfire call!
Good job S.W.A.T.!
no surprise the police know these people. our judges let them off ALL the time. I heard we just hit #1 regarding burglaries.

The City of Albuquerque notes New Mexico’s close proximity to the U.S. border with Mexico lends to a higher chance of vehicle theft, as criminals may not only be seeking joy rides or compensation from chop shops, but also the potential to take the car over the border to sell in Mexico.

Why can’t we follow this guy to the station?
Nice and clean fencing store front.
