On January 1,2023, the restaurant and lounge in Atlanta, Georgia requested Chamblee police officers to assist with extra security for the night event.
While there, officers witnessed two pedestrians nearly getting hit by a dark SUV barreling through the Crossroads village shopping center.
Police officer immediately contacted another officer on patrol that was near the shopping center exit and moments later, the SUV was pulled over for the investigation.
The driver suspected of DUI was asked to participate in standardized field sobriety tests and breath test by blowing into a breathalyzer.
She was charged with DUI less safe, reckless driving and transported to DeKalb County Jail.
