@Copwatchtv obtained body camera from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office of a routine patrol took a surprising turn when a traffic stop led to the arrest of a driver for suspicion of driving under the influence
According to the criminal complaint, as the vehicle approached the intersection, it began to drift dangerously close to the right side of the road, nearly striking the raised curb. The driver then made an abrupt left turn without using a turn signal, prompting a Bernalillo County deputy to pull over, Kyle Greer, 32-year-old, of Albuquerque.
Upon making contact with the driver, Greer became increasingly belligerent, claiming he was pulled over for displaying an American flag on his truck. The complaint goes on to say the deputy suspected Greer being intoxicated and observed a strong odor of alcohol on Greer’s breath, bloodshot and watery eyes, and slurred speech. Backup was requested, and Greer was asked to exit the vehicle. He continued to be uncooperative and refused standardized field sobriety tests.
