Minneapolis, Minnesota  The Hennepin County judge Peter Cahill overseeing the George Floyd case has made the body worn cameras from ex-officers Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng available. The video, taken from the body worn cameras shows Kueng and Lane responding to a convenience store on May 25 on a report that Floyd had allegedly used a fake $20 bill. Their former colleagues, Tou Thao and Derek Chauvin, later showed up to assist. The footage follows Lane and Kueng as they apprehend Floyd and two acquaintances. Lane holds Floyd at gunpoint and handcuffs him, and the officers briefly question the visibly panicked man before attempting to get him into their patrol SUV.
After struggling to get him into the police squad, Floyd is eventually held down by officers on the ground. Floyd is heard calling to his mother, repeatedly saying he can’t breathe and that everything hurts. After a few minutes, Senior officers Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao arrive and help wrestle him to the ground. Chauvin then places his knee on Floyd’s neck, where it stays for over nine minutes. Lane and Kueng hold down Floyd’s back and knees as Thao keeps increasingly agitated bystanders at bay. Chauvin gets up after paramedics arrive and load Floyd into an ambulance. Lane accompanies them and administers CPR as they take Floyd to an out-of-the-way street corner, while Kueng goes back into Cup Foods interviewing an employee about the alleged counterfeit $20 bill and collecting evidence.

Claustrophobic? He was found sitting in a vehicle with the windows all up, was he claustrophobic then?
What the fuck do they expect if someone CANT BREATHE to stay still. Man this was horrible to watch
Smh
It appears the only real crime here (besides Floyd using fake money and resisting arrest for 20 min while amped on drugs) is the police should have switched to treating Floyd for drug overdose and respiratory problems as soon as he FINALLY stopped resisting and was calm.
Maybe Biden will show his dedication to the American people and sign an executive order to hold the media responsible for not releasing this full video and cropping the story resulting in the social destruction of our once great country. I think it’s time we rethink what freedom of press has turned in to. Our laws protect the media so they can attack our country. Seems about right.
I come back and watch to make sure I’m okay in way I look at this case, and every fucking time I’m angrier. Goddamn outrageous
George Fraud chose a life of Drugs.
No fault on the cops
This is very sad. George made some bad decisions. Chauvin made even worse decisions. A momentary lapse of reason resulting in him losing his life too. I watch this and I am convinced that not one officer, including Chauvin, intended to kill George. I believe that he has policed this way for years. He went against policy but did what he has learned himself in dealing with the mental health crises in our nation. It was like hitting the lottery or getting bitten by a shark. Everything that could go wrong did. Post covid, hypertension, blocked arteries, anxiety, adrenaline, fentanyl, meth, marijuana, tumors….and Chauvin being lost in the moment not recognizing that George was in trouble. In no way am I saying that George did not contribute to his own death because he did;however, Chauvin had about 3 mins and 30 seconds to change the whole situation and he froze in time. He lost the ability to reason. If purposeful he is a monster. If he just made a mistake with confirmation bias believing it was all an act, I have compassion for him and his family. Sad all around.
1:11 Looks like Floyd is chewing something. If you pause it at the right moment he has something in his mouth.
He died from OD.
Didn't realise resisting arrest carries the death penalty
They did him fucking worng
No matter what jury says, police just did their duty. That asshole was acting like a piece of shit.
I understand hes all castrophobic and has anxiety and is a big guy the police could have been a little gentler gave him the benefit of the doubt cus the reason of his arrest is minor but he was resisting all the way with all the talking dont shoot me and stuff. all im saying is this all could have been avoided
Nah those cops should rest in piss
I don't know this guy but he's resisting a lot…

ah yeah, floyd ma boi the "gentle giant"
..only country where you can die like that…for 20 fucking $
From someone who deals with anxiety and is clasturphobic, this hurts me even more. Anxiety is real.
They know he’s dead yet still don’t get off of him. He tells his friends that he’s already gone
From the wikipedia page :
Fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use may have increased the likelihood of death. The amount of fentanyl measured in his system was 11 nanograms per milliliter.
Other significant conditions were arteriosclerotic heart disease and hypertensive heart disease, including an enlarged heart, one artery 90% blocked, and two others 75% narrowed. The report states that on April 3 Floyd had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, but does not list it as a fatal or other significant condition.
This guy was on death's door already. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but he certainly wasn't doing any good to himself, his family or his community
You could argue he was trying to provide for his family with drug money, but he wasn't even selling, he was straight up consuming it in broad daylight in the middle of a commercial street.
I'm not american or a cop, but I fear for my life if the mainstream media in my country decides to adopt the same tactics and launch an exposé for each crackhead that dies from drug overdose during police intervention. It's gonna get old in the first week.
"I'm not resist'n!!!" Continues to resist…
Chauvin should not be the only cop involved in this situation to have their badge taken.
Words can't describe how shocked i felt , watching George Floyd repeating "i can't breathe" and cops did nothing… R.I.P George Floyd .. i can't believe what i just saw in this footage … drama
Its clear the media wants a race war in America. Divide and conquer and I cannot belive this cop got convicted over this. Mr. Floyd was a criminal who was resisting arrest period. There is no justice in this case; just a spinned story causing division in America…a true shame.
Such a fucked up situation. I’m sure chauvin didn’t wake up thinking he would do what he did. Nonetheless it was very excessive and he’s responsible for Floyd’s death. Although Floyd should have just gone in the car he was resisting arrest heavily..
whos here after the cop got 40+ years in prison
RIP man..ðŸ™Â
The knee was on the neck so the other officers could restrain him I can’t breathe but your talking
Crack is a hella of a drug
