The Minnesota judge overseeing the trials of four former Minnesota police officers, Derek Chauvin, J Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao, accused in the death or playing a role in the death of George Floyd has authorized the release of the police body camera video. The two body cameras are from former officers Thomas Lane and J Alexander Kueng.
George Perry Floyd Jr. Born: October 14, 1973, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Died: May 25, 2020, (46) in Minneapolis, Minnesota during an arrest after allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill in Minneapolis.

  4. Floyd appeared to be very irrational and paranoid when police appeared. What surprised me was how fearful he was, not of white police, but of police in general. He appeared to be genuinely fearful and not pretending to be afraid. Was it illicit drugs that were heightening his paranoia and fear? Sure looks that way. Was he on fentanyl or crack cocaine as some have suggested? Passing that $20 dollar counterfeit bill was not only unwise; it cost him his life. God rest his tortured soul. But I don't view his death as racially motivated in any way, shape, or form. It was tragic, yes, but it could have been avoided had he just cooperated with police.

  8. According to the medical report, he had taken a potentially lethal dose of a fentanyl, an opioid. Gee, do you think this could have played a role in his death? He had a bad heart and suffered from hypertension as well.

  9. He told the officers he didn't want to get into the squad car. He as quite adamant. So why did the officers insist? THAT'S MEAN!!

  10. Guilty on all counts. Chauvin had the same look in his eyes every murder does when they realize it's a wrap. he still has a tax evasion case as well. Next time show some mercy or face the consequences.

  11. So I just finished and since when is EMS supposed to care for an individual, when they initially get into the ambulance or whenever they get around to it. Blatant disregard for human life and lack of skilled technicians. You can see what human lives mean in this day and age.

  12. Police Reform all around, complete disconnect from the communities best interest. Really, death over a $20 bill. Police knew the extreme force being applied and made the decision to continue. Think I seen the officer smile when the citizens were pleading to be human…

  19. The man had a special kind of claustrophobia that sets in when the car he is supposed to get into is supposed to drive him to jail. When half the city is burned down afterwards, that's called peaceful demonstrators.

  20. If the cops had rendered aid I wonder if it would have made a difference? It certainly didn't help chauvin to be in charge and let Floyd die in his custody. He'll have 40 years to think about what he should have done differently.

  21. This is just sick. A man lost his life because a BAD cop (and not all cops are bad) just wanted to show he is the man. He should be put away for ever…..

  22. 26:00 – Lane says he thinks he’s unconscious “Eh I think he’s passed out.”
    29:00 – Paramedic checks carotid for pulse and finds none
    30:00 – Chauvin gets up off his neck
    31:00 – Kueng picks Chauvin’s body cam up off the ground
    40:35 – Paramedic checks again for pulse, asks Lane to start compressions
