Lathrop, California — On Sunday, January 27, the Lathrop Police officers responded to a domestic violence call on Shadywood Avenue. The suspect, 40-year-old Juan Valdez, was wanted in connection to a domestic violence incident that occurred in Lathrop. Valdez fled officers, and a vehicle pursuit ensued. He entered southbound Interstate 5 and he then attempted to carjack a vehicle on southbound Interstate 5 after one of his tires came apart. He then attempted to carjack a vehicle on Interstate 5. The video shows Valdez holding on to the victim’s vehicle’s window as the victim was driving away. The victim then stopped their vehicle on the shoulder of the interstate and attempted to enter the vehicle through the passenger door. This is when an officer fired two shots at Valdez. Valdez was taken to the hospital before being booked into San Joaquin County Jail. He is facing charges of carjacking, false imprisonment and resisting arrest.

To be fair the cop really didnt have to hit the blue honda, literally just had to pull up like he did and not touch the car and then get the suspect, but on another note that was so movie type stuff hanging on to the side of the car, though it was painfully to see him not worry about his knees getting absolutely destroyed by the asphalt while he held on😂
