POLICE VLOGS : Florida Highway Patrol (Criminal Interdiction Unit) Night Patrol

We joined Florida Highway Patrols Criminal Interdiction Unit on a night patrol. The team joined Miami Gardens Auto Theft Unit to patrol high crime areas to address violent crimes. During the Shift they encountered a Subject that was wanted by the US Marshals who led them on a high speed chase. The team also assisted Broward Sheriffs Office with the apprehension of stolen vehicle that crashed into several deputies and fled.

  1. Thats the worst ones….the ones that wanna take someone with them. If you have already made the decision to kill yourself. Thats a sad decision…but its your choice. (Get help if you need it) however there is no need to injure/harm/damage someone else and their family.

  2. Nick, Our team at Axon would love to help with our Fallen Officers fund for Deputy Bristow's family. We have an established program called Axon Aid, we will reach out to Carrol County Team for more details to help the family.
Great work on the videos and keep up the great work.

  3. I'd never want to open a bag with drugs in it. Incase it touches you or you breath it by accident. Wonder what your police/procedures say

  4. I've heard that those gloves can't keep you safe from a large amount of fentynal. By now I'm guessing the police are pros, but idk how they do it. I'd be terrified

  5. I lived in Florida for 10 years and I can say that FHP is no joke… those boys are rough as all get out! My prayers and deepest sympathies to Officer Bristow and his family💔

  6. I live in Broward County and would like to warn people who think they can get away from BSO and FHP. It ain't gonna happen. You will regret it

  7. That's a awesome narco detected thanks for the 411 . Wish they had civilian life saving classes similar to cops . As crazy as today is I'd do it. Never know when we as civilians can help out.

  8. Nick I have been watching your content for the better part of 5 years. I love your content and wish you the best. I would love to see 2 videos a month. Keep it up sir <3

Police think of crime as traffic or criminal. Medics think of their job as medical or trauma…

    **
BSI/SS (Gloves, eye protection if needed, etc. and make sure the scene is secure, safe)
C-Spine (if trauma/possible neck injury, stabalize the cpine/head with hands or neck brace,
    A (clear airway
    B (check breathing
C (check pulse or do circulation
    CPR if no pulse^^^

    * If Trauma, transport asap… can check DCAP-BTLS (Deformities, contusions, abrasions, punctures, burns, tenderness, lacerations, and swelling(?)

Cpr generally doesnt work as well for trauma pts, near drownings are almost always fatal, popped lungs and broken femurs are deadly and should be dressed/stabilized properly, gsw are apply pressure… you guys know how to use tourniquets…. that's really it almost.

***If medical, can check glucose, get an iv, and ask about any allergies and medications they may take before they go out…. incase they pass out or something… If they're hot make them cold, if they're out of sugar, give them, etc. Just learn the normal vitals for b/p, heartrate, glucose, o2 levels, that's the basics….. read about the heart and medicine out of a paramedic book to learn pre hospital emergency medicine best. Not a doctors book.

    Medics got drugs, emts dont.
Paramedics can push drugs and start ivs, and they will ride in rescue trucks.
Emts (basic abc transport, some medical but no iv) ride in fire trucks.
What im basically saying is everyone needs to be transported asap unless you're a paramedic and can push meds

That's basically it… except strokes, siezures, heart attacks… maybe a few more. And being able to triage or asses a pt like this correctly, as quick as possible. It can be done in a minute

  10. Drop them on Wednesdays so we get nick off duty then Thursdays with Cape Coral traffic and Fridays with Frank 😂

  11. In the name of Deputy Bristol. 🙏🏿
What a coward to k*ll himself after murdering an officer.
People do not realize this stuff is real.

  12. Thank you for service , I am so sorry , for all of you… ❤️🤍💙🌎… praying g for you all…. Each day I pray, God give me strength a new, to do the things I wish not to do, to yield obedience, not asking why, to love and own the truth and scorn the lie, to look a cold world upon its face, to cheer for those who pass me in the race, to bear my burdenss, gaily; unafraid, to lend a hand to those who need my aid, to measure myself by what I give, God give me the strength that I might rightly live.. LOVE FROM RICHMOND, Va💯🩷💜🩵💙❤️🤍🧡
