On December 06, 2021, Dunwoody Police Officers responded to a call reporting a fight between two males in the McDonald’s parking lot. When they arrived at the scene, the officers witnessed the altercation in progress and immediately intervened to separate the individuals involved.
One of the men explained to the officers that he had recently had his iPhone stolen at the Tokyo Valentino Lifestyle Club. He had tracked the device using another iPhone, which led him to the McDonald’s parking lot. Spotting a man from the club, he became suspicious that this person might be the thief. In an attempt to confirm his suspicions, he remotely activated a sound on his iPhone, and when he heard the sound coming from the other man’s pocket, he confronted him about the stolen device. The confrontation escalated into a physical struggle, during which the man was able to retrieve his stolen iPhone.
The other male involved in the altercation denied any knowledge of the stolen iPhone and claimed that he had no connection to the theft. He stated that he had only been at the club to socialize and had no intention of getting involved in any disputes.
The officers conducted an investigation, including interviewing witnesses at the scene. However, the witnesses were unable to provide any information beyond the fact that they saw the two men fighting.
In the end, both individuals were arrested by the Dunwoody Police and charged with disorderly conduct for their involvement in the physical altercation. They were subsequently transported to the Dekalb County Jail.
