  5. Mike the cop..what do you think? (Its just an idea I've thought a lot about and am open to having my mind changed)

    If they are on duty when they do something BAD, and are found guilty of that crime, the punishment should be doubled (Hear me out). They swore to not break the law, and are given authority over citizens by making that promise. This shouldn't be taken lightly. They are allowed to inflict pain (or worse) on people who dont comply. Their word is favored over a civilian's in court. They are allowed to lie to us, we aren't. They are well armed and trained, and can call for backup in an instant. And dont forget, anything you say to an officer can, and WILL be used against you. Thats a lot of power for a human being thats just like us….flawed. Hold them accountable towards what they swore to do for this country and its citizens. If a police officer is found guilty of an illegal act while on duty, especially if it involved unlawful/severe treatment of a civilian, Double the punishment. Not a stern talking to, or suspension with pay, or even being fired. Double the punishment if found guilty. Hold them accountable for their promise. I think people would trust cops more this way, and WILL weed out the bad cops and even prevent the bad apples from joining.

    Praise and reward($$$) police that perform thier job as they should. The people especially, should honour them for earning their badge every day. And for keeping the words they swore.

    P.s. I love your channel and think you're a good dude. I have a kinship with people who chuckle at "duty"💩. I respect you for having such a stressful job and still have enough passion for your carreer to create a channel about it and work your butt off to maintain it. Interesting, entertaining, and informative content. Well done.

  6. This might just be me thinking this but I think to punish cops just make them realize if they do something stupid when it comes to a civilian that cost someone's there life they should think a civilian save my life when I'm in trouble if I can't get back up

  16. The hello kitty arm band reminds me of my dad's baseball team where when you screw up a play, you wear a hot pink jersey with the number 0 and "princess" where the name on the back goes. You wear it until the next person screws up. Surprisingly effective lol

  17. A large part of that misconception about police accountability is do to the news reporting on a police shooting a suspect before they have all the information. By the time we find out whether or not a shooting is Justified it is entirely likely that the story is been on the air for a few days and the court of public opinion has already rendered a verdict.

  23. There's a lot of corruption among the police in Asian countries. This kind of thing is probably more to convince the public that they're actually trying to discipline their officers.

  25. IN America cops should put up their own bonds so when they do illegal things instead of getting paid vacations it comes out of their pocket! There is not many bad cops but they make the other cops look bad real bad!

  31. Well you answered my last question but it seems like to many bad apples go unnoticed.. If it's a practice already then it seems like it's not working. Maybe I'm wrong about this but if it's taken care of so much and watched so closely then why does it seem to happen so much?

  32. Mike how come police don't actually police the police? I know you guys live by some code and I think a few bad apples crush the chance for the community to really back the police. I think if more of this type of practice was to happen the police would be a lot more excepted among the high risk areas and let's face it the black community as well. When the communities see that the police are trying to get the best men and women to do the job and not the guy who wants to wear a gun and boss people around that's when I think the stigma of all cops are bad will go down. Can you do a video on this. Hahaha I just herd you say police the police!
