This family lives Upstate & was in Manhattan attending a Baptism, The parents sent their Son to the store and while he was heading to the store with his 2 cousins, “Training Day Sgt, Officer Spongebob & his Goon jumped out of their vehicle and illegally searched all 3…….when they asked why were they being stopped, Training Day Sgt. replied that they just looked suspicious, thereafter they told the Officer’s that they did not consent to a search because they had no probable cause to Stop them, but these kids were searched anyway which they found a small little knife which he uses at his job to cut open boxes…WHICH was later verified through their parents that he has a job that justifies why he had that little knife. They arrested him & let the other 2 go….Both parents showed up at the Station and was disrespected and was giving them a rough time all around the Board. This kid goes to school, has a good job, and he just passed the “Court Officers Exam” to become a Court Officer, now his dream is hanging by a thin string because of these officer’s illegal tactics and discriminatory Stops..These people are my family and they screwed with the wrong people..I, HARLEM COPWATCH was able to retrieve the Store’s Video footage which shows these officer’s in action, I turned this video over to the CCRB and other contacts to commence whatever complaints were filed with my full support. Officers, this is my family & I will be taking this matter all the way to the Top and them some!!!
