Since the NYPD launched their “Homeless Outreach Program” (CIT) in Harlem in the vicinity of 125 Street, CPU has been in the area to moniter the #NYPD when it comes to reaching out to the Homeless and providing services and referrals….However, CPU has uncovered that this program is only in place to Criminalize the Homeless through unlawful searches and Detainment…The 4th Amendment protects every citizen from illegal search and seizures, and to be protected from illegal Detainment….as you can perfectly see that there was no probable cause to stop and even search this individual, and even if this man had committed a violation, he is still protected by the 4th amendment, unless the person is wanted or has committed some more serious Offense..The “Homeless Outreach Program” is Unconstitutional and is being abused to harass, Criminalize the homeless to clear them from the 125th Street area, paving the way for mass development for the Rich……
