Harmless local homeless guy gets approached by cops, does not resist, then inexplicably one of the officers hits him in the head with his metal baton. There is a sickening noise, and the victim grabs his head and falls to the ground.
He is clutching his head in pain on the ground, and gets accused of resisting, then is punched by the same officer. CPU is informed that the homeless guy is back in the neighborhood after a short stay at Bellvue, and does not remember being hit or what he was arrested for. This occurred around 5 PM on April 20th, 2017 in the 9th Precinct in Manhattan, on the north side of East Houston Street near the corner of Avenue A.
