Reporters were asked to leave Uvalde City Hall because people are intimidated by us. Texas legislators are meeting here with law enforcement behind closed doors. The fire marshal also told a local chaplain and father of a victim to exit from the building. pic.twitter.com/ukyTmtHbOt

Corporate media leaves Uvalde Texas city hall, a public building during business hours because some one told them they have to. A fire marshal tells them that their presence makes public employees feel intimidated, so they have to leave. This is why Independent journalism is so important. We NEED people who understand their rights who won’t back down, and who will ask the questions that need to be asked.

That town is corrupt – from top to bottom
This government is clearly out of control. Cover up all the way to the fucking governors office. Fucking cowards need to be eradicated
I think the lady had a panic attac because people just have panic attacks. I've had my fair share and it's never just one thing that leads to it. Maybe that lady just needs help for her panic attacks. That one lady can't be used as a reason to prevent people doing lawful things.
"Why would they be intimidated…?" Dude we are talking about cops that stood idly by and watched as children were systematically murdered for an hour, pretty sure accountability is terrifying for them. Then again I'm pretty sure EVERYTHING is terrifying to a complete coward.
Corporate journalists have to cave to the government's desires and wishes so they continue to have access that private journalists do not. Corporate has investors and other outside interests that control what they allow onto the air.
Reason way because they are covered could not save those kids
Awejob
Landscape mode?
Why does a fire marshal have hand cuffs? He has zero power of arrest.
Today is national spit in a cops food day! If you work in fast food or a restaurant, get to work!
mind boggling that "journalists" would just roll over like that
Record in Landscape mode, it's already being recorded in portrait mode.
On point.
Another reason to suspect if the incident happened at all. ðŸ¤â€
The other huge problem is if I were a parent I would’ve stood up and called out their Garbage I’m tired of licking sympathetic people you just kindly do with their government ask them it’s disgusting I hope that the people within this community ever come to a point of having to deal with this they wouldn’t Cowher
Why does a fire marshal have a magazine and cuffs on his batt-belt??
How much water did the journalist used while reporting?
I hate to say it but you failed us this time!! You should have put links in your description for the uvalde Texas city government and other links so these people can be held accountable!!! What I see is reprehensible and as a citizen I would be amiss not to make a complaint…
Proof that most corporate journalists aren't real journalists.
When will, we the people, take back our country?
seriously FUCK ALL COPS and FUCK MAINSTREAM D*CKLESS MEDIA!!!
you coward pussy/s you let your KIDS DIE.
They need a few first amendment auditors there, every one of you has a bigger set of balls and better understanding of the law than those so called "reporters" there… You guys need to go there and show them how it is done!
"Are you gonna pay our water bill?!"
Bitch, I DO pay your water bill with my taxes.
They're brave against auditors and reporters but not brave enough to save kids.
Ah, it's the feelings police.
Did that coward actually say the reason to boot you all out was that a woman had a panic attach "last week" The cops are cowards and now the city hall workers seem to be cowards also. This town is so willing to double and triple down on being cowards,
When you screw up like these cowards. they dont want more truth to come out. It is the cops who are intimidated.
There's clearly a long, wide deep streak of cowardice running through that town
So the parent ends up leaving instead of standing his ground, see how easily they win.
They ought to be intimidated. Too damn bad. This is a PUBLIC MEETING!!! They threw out PARENTS!!!
This is getting comical, cops are afraid everybody this day and age. Texans! Do something, now! You kids are de-capitated and cops are afraid to do their job. And you are paying them to be afraid… Insane!
Unfortunately journalism these days is a case of “if you don’t like my principles, I’ve got others†brought on by the mighty advertising $. Journalists face a tough choice these days – do I piss off the advertisers, or do I piss off the target of my story. One guy pays me the other just denies my story. After careful thought for 1 nanosecond I choose the guy with the money cos he feeds me, and anyway what are principles these days. TOUGH CHOICE.
Ill be there in August.. I will ask questions.
Your not free, you live how government tells you.
I would've asked to see the evidence of the lady who had a panic attack because that was clearly a lie. If there were a lady who had one it would've at least made local headlines in Uvalde.
They've completely run out of excuses
So if i feel intimidated by cops, can I tell them to leave?
Officers kill unarmed people in the streets without any reasonable reason and get away with it but they're the ones who feel intimidated? No they just know they will slip up and have more people mad at them.
