@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of an incident that happened in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In early May of 2024, two men were on their way to work and got into a disagreement and a road rage took over.
One of the men decided to brandish a firearm and fire the gun into the other man’s vehicle. A New Mexico State Police officer saw the whole thing and pulled the offender over.
The man was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and faces felony charges for the incident.

Wow. I am always armed, and I get cut off by other drivers sometimes. It’s never even crossed my mind to do anything more than take evasive action to avoid dying, probably accompanied by a little profanity. Gun stays in its safe place. This is crazy.

That seems stupid he caught a second charge because a police officer was in the vicinity. If they're using the logic for the second charge that others were in danger, then he should catch probably half a dozen more because there were other drivers in the vicinity. Those other drivers were in more danger than the officer who was behind the line of fire rather than the drivers to the side and closely in front.
