So for me the point is, we are taxed to death and charge out the butt for everything anymore. All government, from our top in Washington, to our parking meter maids, is there to make money! Someone please remind me why we left England again? While I would not do this myself, I think it's simply Justice for how much they steal from us. And I also believe he already paid for that parking spot when he paid for the parking lot in taxes. Simply because it's public parking

    I don't think it would have been a search if she'd have just closed the trunk lid. The excuse being she thought you forgot to close it and she was just trying to prevent someone from getting in the car.

    I do agree that they are basically renting us parking spots we already own. Out here in California they have "express lanes" which charges a toll for a highway our tax dollars already built. How can they charge me more to use it now?

    But they just see us as "revenue streams" these days. Shake us until all the money falls out of our pockets.
