It's possible if you ask that trooper why he didn't pursue the traffic stop and write him a ticket…he would tell you he did it out of his own discretion to give him a break while still sticking to the original accusation of him rolling through the stop sign. I've never heard of a cop actually verbally admitting they were wrong
