First of all, #NYPD Uniformed Officers are not soposed to be conducting hidden surveillance or Stakeouts while in regular uniform, these types of Enforcement is left to the Undercover Anti-Crime Plainclothes Officers who conduct such tactics, these officers are in Violation of the NYPD Patrol Guide…..
Also, it is per Department Policy that officers are to call an interpreter when there is a language barrier, this lady did not understand 90% of the interaction she had with the officer, she did not know what what was going on and the officer should of contacted his supervisor to dispatch an interpreter so that she can clearly know what was going on with her…The vast majority of the time when officers hide to catch thier collars for the month do it all for the Quota System that the NYPD continues to deny they have..Regular Officers are soposed to be in full view of the public, that’s why they were uniforms so that the public could look for them when needed….you can’t find them if they are holed up in a closet trying to hunt the community down…
