25. Its the 8th amendment to the Constitution..Prohibits excessive fines and excessive bail, and well as cruel and unusual punishment. The maximum fine for a misdemeanor is $1,000 so the max bail is $2,000, generally speaking, but go to as much as $10,000 for a Domestic Assault w/ flight risk.

41. I can explain the use of the term "pocket warrant" in Florida: Texas is the only state to officially incorporate that term into law. On the other hand in Florida an officer can use it even though it's not officially incorporated into law. All it means is a Magistrate most typically instead of a Judge has authorized the warrant but the officer never put it into the system so that other officers would automatically see it in the computer systems. Since this isn't a legal term it can be misused by anyone but that would be the correct academic definition of the term. To further make it clear the difference between this and a bench warrant is a bench warrant was put into the computer system a pocket warrant was a bench warrant not put into the computer system.

Was the car registered in his name and was the warrant for him or the registered owner???cause it would be less than ideal to do something you know antagonizes the pigs if you know you have a warrant of any type and he doesnt strike me as a stupid person so it begs the question if they we were going to be there because you called them and it had your name so they probably ran the information right then and there why not just arrest you on sight instead of some elaborate plan
