2. You think that was a bad experience, try it now. Everyday you are made to contact the Daytona police department to run your background even if you are a return client. If you just show up out there you have to wait off of the property and sometimes hassled to wait across the road. So you have to cross that busy road to wait for the Daytona police department to show up. There is so much money being waisted to do this everyday as a return client. I could see doing it once every two weeks or even weekly for a referral. The security there aren't the type of personnel to be providing the services that are being given. This is the whole type mentality that is going on and it needs to be fixed. The city board and the Mayor needs to take a long hard look at these policies that are being used because it is costing way to much money to have an officer out there half a dozen times if not more to do these things when it could be much cheaper and more effective. The security needs to be more professional in their roll and not so hard core. When I was there I really didn't care if the security guard had the right to arrest me, as I was told because I was carrying in a sealed bag of chips and a coke. Needs to change for sure.

8. 1,000 people need to walk in with a public records request for some basic information, refuse to sign in, and hand them a copy of the Florida law that shows they are violating state law requiring them to sign in. Then send the videos to the state inspector general and request action.

16. Most nonprofit organizations don't receive funding from the public tax dollars. The non-profit just won't get taxed the same as a business or individual on the money (donations) they receive. Almost all churches are non-profit organizations and the government doesn't send them checks…

    1) Its difficult to get in FOR…People who are not on drugs, actively progressive about trying to find actual HELP, and people newly homeless. Because Government works at a crawl for them.
    2) The POLICE refferals Won't ever get a chance to LEAVE….Police refferal cuts you through the Red tape because these are the homeless that are seen as the NUISANCES for the police….Sp undoubtedly they may have, been deemed MEDICAL NECESSARY, from so many of the police's "Welfare checks, or Care calls" or 48hr psych evals…get them in there and get the docs to say he needs to stay….before you know it you're taking more and more state funded meds. Just like they do with state institutions..funding funding funding scheme..having you jumping through hoops just to get out

Mr. Madison, would you reply to this comment and let me know which title, chapter, and section you are referring to as 109 is found in many titles throughout the Florida statutes and I cannot locate the 109 reference you are referring to. Thank you. As a side note, after being humiliated by a public employee to the extent you were humiliated perhaps before leaving the building you might have inquired if the lady/ladies is/are also authorized to take urine samples in a public area. Chapter 817 section 565 of title 46 Urine testing.
    (1)It is unlawful for any person:
    (a) Willfully to defraud or attempt to defraud any lawfully administered urine test designed to detect the presence of chemical substances or controlled substances.
