Officer Velez made an unlawful arrest for trespass. In fact it wasn’t even on the property he claimed. Here’s a breakdown.

Thank you!

  1. This is how the system makes its money. Jail for profit. They know he can't afford to pay. Disgusting and disturbing.

  2. I hope he can sue for a substantial bit of money for the civil rights violations. The FBI needs to open a investigation into this officer and he needs to lose his law enforcement license and placed on the Brady list

  3. Velez may have been tasked to oppress Brian Smith, but it is obvious from that video that Velez enjoys his task. Velez is a stain on society, a scumbag, a nasty POS.

  4. imagine living in a country where someone is paid by the hour to watch ONE individual and wait for them to commit any infraction to retaliate against them… welcome to America… whats worse is they even try to go after the guy talking to him and force him to be a "witness" against his will, thats how far police have gone these days, paid to stalk citizens and threaten others…

  5. Any chance you can get the info of the circle k too. This is absolutely disgusting. I will be calling and making complaints. This is not protecting and serving. This is harrassment, bullying and intimidation. The ACLU needs to sue this cop. This is so sad. How anyone could ever get ahead when you have a cop constantly kicking you when you get up.

  6. If this Police Department believes that homeless people are committing acts of theft then get some proof /evidence. Other than that they need to leave the homeless people alone if they're not committing infractions. Valez straight-up is a villain with a badge his supervisor also is a villain. I don't usually refer to Cops as villains but I do believe that this department it needs to incur a rather large Civil Right lawsuit. This is disgusting

  7. If the ppl in the store would've refused to sign that paper he would've threatened with arrest the same way he did to the camera guy in the last video….this officer shouldn't be a public servant…he's a public nuisance…a habitual harasser of the public…

  8. This officer Velez is on several large auditor channels. To say he's overly righteous and heavy-handed would be an understatement. I have no problem with a cop doing their job, but this guy is a villain. This police department is targeting homeless people that really are not breaking the law. I would take this to court. It would be one thing if this homeless gentleman was creating some kind of disturbance but he wasn't doing anything, just minding his business.

  9. This is what you call a very petty officer.
He rather charged somebody with the smallest crime possible, then try to help them out.
