On Monday, August 5, 2024, at approximately 12:11AM, an auto crash involving an auto, and an unknown pedestrian occurred in the 39th District, in the 2000 block of W. Hunting Park Ave. Unit #1 was traveling east on Hunting Park Avenue and made contact with an unknown female pedestrian on the highway and then fled the scene of the crash. The pedestrian was found on the east side of the road unconscious. Medic #4 transported the female to Temple Hospital with severe head trauma and abdominal injuries and later died of her injuries. The attached video is of the suspect and vehicle prior to the crash.
