The Philadelphia Police Department East Detective Division Is seeking help to identify and locate a male suspect who is wanted for multiple armed commercial store robberies.
Incident #1:
On May 24, 2024, at 8:00PM on the 4XX block of W. Girard Ave 26th District police responded to a robbery. The victim a 39-year-old female stated that the offender entered the restaurant, jumped over the counter and brandished a firearm demanding money. The offender then racked the firearm and pointed it at the complainant. The offender then fled on foot prior to police arrival. Nothing was taken.
Incident #2:
On May 29, 2024, at 4:55PM on the 27XX block of E. Clearfield Street the offender entered a business approached the counter and showed the cashier an online order. When the employee turned around to check for the order, she heard a gun rack and felt the offender put a gun to her back. The offender then forced all 3 store employees to the back of the store where he demanded they get on the ground. The offender then forced one of the employees to get money from the register and place it in a bag. While the robbery was occurring, 2 other customers entered the store. The offender then forced the 2 customers to the back of the store with the employees at gunpoint where he began patting everyone down and taking their phones. One of the customers began fighting with the offender and was able to run out of the store screaming for someone to call 911. The offender then fled out the front of the store behind ran north on Edgemont St. The offender fled with an employee’s cellphone and was tracked to the corner of Westmoreland and Webb St where the offender discarded it. Taken was approximately $1000 in currency.
