The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the three (3) suspects, depicted in the following surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 16-year-old male, that occurred on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at about 8:38 PM, in the 1200 block of Fairmount Avenue. The three suspects drove up to the incident in a silver Dodge Nitro SUV, that had been stolen approximately 30 days prior. After firing a total of 25 shots at a group of people, including the victim, all three males jumped back into the Dodge Nitro and fled the area of 16th & Thompson, where they were later picked up by a dark colored Ford Taurus. The Dodge Nitro was subsequently recovered where it had been abandoned by the three suspects. The Homicide Unit is seeking information on any group of individuals that were known to utilize a silver Dodge Nitro leading up to and around the time of the incident, as well as a dark in color Ford Taurus.
