The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to a shooting that occurred inside the Save A Lot store located at 6301 Chew Ave.
On February 19, 2023, an unknown black male along with a black female were involved in a verbal dispute with the store manager and security guard during which the female suspect produced a firearm and pointed it at the security guard. The guard quickly disarmed the female and both suspects were escorted from the building. Both suspects quickly returned to the store and confronted the store manager once more. During this second altercation, the male suspect shot the manager point blank in the face, leaving him in critical condition. Both suspects fled on foot towards the Awbury View Apartments across the street.
- Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black female, 30 to 40 years old, medium brown complexion, wearing a white and black pattern jacket, pink bonnet, long sleeve black shirt, dark blue pants, black boots and black face mask.
SUSPECT #2: Black male, approximately 40 years old, slim build, full salt & pepper colored beard, medium brown complexion, wearing a dark blue puffy coat over a dark hoodie, black knit cap, black pants with solid white stripe on the sides, white sneakers. - To view this video and more, visit The Philadelphia Police YouTube Channel or http://phillypolice.com/news
