16. This is a very ignorant analysis/understanding of unschooling. I don't know these parents, but I DO know that unschooling has been around for YEARS and some of the most brilliant people have been unschooled. It's important to do thorough research before judging others to the point where you'd call their children dumb. Just because you don't agree with someone's alternative lifestyle, doesn't not mean you have the right to degrade and dismiss them.

    Unschoolers don't avoid teaching their children… they choose to support their child's learning journey by giving them free will. Children aren't empty vessels that we pour information into. They are dynamic developing human beings that thrive and learn with loving connections.

    Btw… My son is 4, can read, and we unschool 🤷🏿‍♂️.
