  1. lmao, waitwaitwait, dont hang up pllleeease i just need to talk to suum boddyy, lemme take just one minute …. are you watching the price is right ?'' MEEE TOOOO !!! XD *dead rollin' *

  2. i used to get calls from county lock up as well as atlanta in the mid 90s and early 2000s, it was so weird i never knew who, why, or how these people were deciding to call my house when i had no ties with anyone currently at the time locked up

  3. Fishing was common on my block when I was behind the wall. Used to get one of the young buck dumbasses that would leave their book on the phone and find 40 or 50 numbers in there when they were only allowed 20 on the approved list at a time. Any time they would get on in Spanish and didn’t speak it well that was a dead giveaway they were fishing.

  4. Yeah I’ve definitely seen that go on back in the day. I can even remember people selling a page out of the whit pages. If someone got near a phone book, snatch a few pages sneak em back to the dorm and you got dinner

  5. when I got my DUI in 2005 the jail I was at had there own pre recorded message around our prerecorded message so it said you have a collect call from (inmate's prerecorded message) followed by "an inmate at shiawassee county jail" My parents both had new numbers I hadn't memorized yet but grandma and grandpa had the same number and yellow rotary phone they had all my childhood, My grandma wouldn't even accept the call when I called with that lol and she was one of those people that kept scammers in business because she bought into anything. She did call my dad and told him where I was.

  6. Lmao. U said prison fishing I thought u meant the string to other cells. Lol. When I was in the hole in prison their was a lip on the bottom of the door. So id take the elastic dtrings out of my socks. Tie them together. Braid them tie a comb on one end. A pen on the other. Put the comb in the lip and launch the pen like a rocket under the door to my buddies cell diagonal across the hall. And we'd send on another cookies, soups, anything really. Lol that is what I thought u was talking about

  7. Joe u should do a video on what u can and can’t do on a prison computer what website can u visit can. U go on Facebook and such.

  8. Right now this whole pandemic thing going on I would love a prisoner to freaking call me cuz I'm not watching the prices right I'm watching forensic files lol

  9. I remember that my ex tried calling me from jail back in the 90s.. he tried to be sexy and shit and as soon as I heard his voice I hung up lol yeah he stole his best friend 4 wheeler

  10. Hey Joe! Just wanted to show my appreciation for you and your channel. I have recently been exposed to the truths of DOC in the past years and have been trying to become a part of prison reform communities in order to shine light on the conditions those incarcerated face. Your content has really helped me to learn more about the system, COs and inmates included. I'm so glad that you were able to find success in this field, it always makes me happy seeing those who have had traumatic life experiences beat the statistic and become successful; Not only for themselves, but for the community around them. Keep it up!!
