Stopping Microsoft Scammers from Stealing $20,000!

These scammers are ruthless! They pretend to be Microsoft AND your bank in an attempt to steal thousands from you. I thought it would be fun to screw up their system and save some of their victims.

  1. I wish there were more people like you helping others out. I am an insurance agent who talks to people every day, thinking I am a schammer- because people are being taken advantage of. I was scammed about a week ago, from a person (Indian) telling me that I was scamed and they were from Microsoft and could help me with the malware put on my computer. He wanted me to go to my bank account and see if money was taken out. He had the remote too- so he was messing with my mouse. Paniced and my heart felt like it was going to burst, I hung up the phone. But my laptop was still on and images from pornhub kept showing up…my laptop was compromised and I could not "x" out. I shut it and called a friend. My daughter helped me through, but here we are a week later and I am still quite nervous about them having my info. I did 3 different malware scans and they all show everything to be ok, but whew….I am not so sure. I changed the passwords on my banking too, but again, not so sure it is secure. Keep up the good work!

  2. Why is our government NOT stopping all this? That is what they did to me. Thank you so much. I wish I would have watched your video sooner.

  3. I have a client who got scammed this same way and unfortunately gave them $20k dollars in Bitcoin. They have filed a FBI report anything else you recommend them to do? My guess they will never see the 20k back in there account. Such a shame and thanks for all that you do.

  4. I don’t think “Alicia” actually is American, the more I listen to her speak the more it sounds like someone doing an accent, an admittedly good one, but there are moments where I think she slips and her grammar sounds like the grammar of someone who learned English as a second language

  5. My dad was just a victim, they got away with $1200 worth of bitcoin and almost $1000 worth of PayPal transfers. We reported the transfer with PayPal but they were unable to retrieve half of the payments. My dad is 75.

  6. You (and others scambaiting) are real heros!
Of course you are my favorite for showing us your work. I know wasting the scammers time slows them down, but I like how you actually step in and stop a scam in progress. Bravo 👏 ❤ ty

  7. Ha ha shady bitcoin machine. There’s an ATM on every corner and there’s more crimes committed by bankers and drug dealers with Fiat currency than there ever was with bitcoin. Also bitcoins the top performing asset of the last 10 years top that.

  8. put the link in the comments and get me acses to it to so I cane help put them out of buissines and ask the same one for help sound like a smart kid

  9. I get these calls from "microsoft" all the time, I live in Greece and half German/Dutch, the number in the display of the phone is usual a 0049(German) number and its is so funny, I answer them in perfect German and the don't know what to say and they hang up!!

  10. My mom was telling me her computer had a virus/hack because of pornhub and a number to call Microsoft support. When I came in, she was on the phone with someone and had the same stuff on her screen as what you showed. She was convinced they were just trying to help, but I was suspicious and pulled up this video. Once I got the confirmation this was a scam, I raced back and we were able to disconnect before she gave any vital/personal info. We're getting the computer cleaned up now because the only thing they were able to do was get in and control the mouse and keyboard. Just wanna say thank you for making this video because you prevented things from getting really bad.

  11. My father almost fell for something like this. He was knowingly going to send money to Hong Kong but luckily my mom and the bank stopped him. So now I'm trying to fight this fire from hundreds of miles away right now. I'm going to send him this video as homework 😂

  12. Got notice from "Microsoft" that my computer was blocked. I immediately clicked on "alt, ctrl" delete" then I went to "log off"…it went away immediately….then I called the bogus phone number. When he announced his phony name, I heard his Indian accent. I said "oh, oh, another Indian scammer and hung up"…

  13. these guys almost got me with this same scam . i didnt know what anydesk team iewer or remote viewer or whatever, but i got lucky when i tried to download the app nothing happened, but they had me do something first . i think they ghosted/cloned my screen so it looks fine on my end and i dont see the app really is downloaded? is that a thing? they had me turn off my ipad by holding up on the volume and pressing poeer to reset it , then they asked ifit was connected to my phone. i loed and said no.

  14. I work in fraud and it's insane how many people fall for these. And they tell me that in their guts they knew something was wrong, but they do it anyway! It's prettu sad!
