21. We have to stop putting this imaginary wedge between blacks and police. Yes I said ‘imaginary’, not to offend, but because all the “evidence” of police brutality focused on blacks is highly subjective and out of context. You could show a million cases of a black person being accused, arrested, cited, suspected, pulled over etc. But alone that is completely useless and meaningless because it doesn’t prove that everyone else gets better treatment. Not to mention most “evidence” of racial profiling put forward is the person’s assumption that they were pulled over not because they were doing 90mph in a 50 zone, not possible, it’s because they’re not white. When it’s made ‘blacks vs police’.. all that does is give the impression that blacks are more prone to crime than other races. Which I know, is not what you’re going for, so for your own sake, quit it.
