Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. went missing on February 19, 2005. The couple was last seen at a bar on South Street in Philadelphia around 11:30 PM, when they left the bar, with Richard stating to their friends that he had parked nearby. Danielle and Richard have never been seen since.

Adventures With Purpose is on a mission to solve this cold case by searching for any clues that could lead to the discovery of Danielle and Richard. The video follows the team as they scour various bodies of water, including Strawbridge Lake, Cooper River Lake, and the Schuylkill River, in search of the missing couple’s car.

While the FBI has speculated that the couple was murdered and their vehicle was taken to a chop shop, our team theorizes that the couple’s disappearance may have been nothing simple but an accident.

CASE DETAILS:
The disappearance of Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. is a tragic case that has touched many lives. The search for the couple has been going on for more than 17 years, and it is important to keep the case alive in the public’s consciousness so that the investigation can continue.

Petrone’s vehicle is also missing: it’s a black and silver four-door 2001 Dodge Dakota or Dodge Ram pickup truck with the Pennsylvania license plate number YFH2319 and possibly a NASCAR #99 sticker in the rear window.

Neither Imbo nor Petrone have accessed their bank accounts or used their credit cards or EZ-Pass cards since they went missing. Their cellular phones have stayed turned off. Imbo’s purse and wallet have not been located. She had an appointment with a hair salon at 11:00 a.m. the day after she vanished, but never arrived.

Petrone and Imbo have one child each; Imbo has a toddler son and Petrone has a teenage daughter. Their loved ones stated they would never have voluntarily abandoned their families, whom they were close to. The couple knew each other in high school and began dating ten months before their disappearances after they separated from their respective partners.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to call the Citizens Crime Commission tip line at 215-546-TIPS (215-546-8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous.

  2. What if they were whisked into witness protection and the FBI is making this their cover story. I mean the whole premise is to make friends, family, etc think you've disappeared. Having said this on the off chance they were forced off the road and into a body of water I would not be surprised if you found bullet holes if this is foul play. Either way I hope they are found. I'm watching The Search Continues right now. Yeah, I'm always late to a party.

  18. No offense but this show is starting to become very boring and no good. I am not really enjoying it anymore because they are not finding anything or people anymore. Plus they talk to much and waste a lot of time. They need less talking and more searching. Right now I'm not impressed. I am fixing to unsubcribe from the show until I start hearing and seeing more action and more finds instead of almost or nothing. I believe this is starting to be a show that isn't going to go very far.

  21. What you all do is awesome! The frame rate is off on the video, the motion isn’t as smooth as what it could be. Videographer should fix that.

  23. I would have to side with the FBI, as a possibility of murder for hire. I believe but can't attest that danielle is still alive and richard is deceased.

  30. Just thoughts going through my head . If anybody remember hurricane Ida going through how bad it was in Philly and surrounding areas The waterways were unbelievable a lot of houses or damaged as it possible that the mud covered any evidence below the river.

    This case still eats away at me every year having bumped into Rich 3 hrs or so before they were last seen….. when I was at Dave and Buster's in Philly. Hadn't seen him in almost a decade.

    I had a class with Danielle in HS.

    Always say hi to someone you haven't seen in a while. We never know when it could be the last time we see someone. I was only an acquaintance, played hockey, remembered Rich from that.

    I want to believe they're still around, but if they're not, I'm rooting for them to be found.

How do I contact you guys through email or gmail, cause one of my family members is currently missing, they haven’t see him since 3/3/23 and the cops have been called and are searching for him, any chance you guys can help us search for him, my aunt will tell you guys more information about it, if so my parents will too

  38. If I were y’all, I’d be searching the ponds en route from the bar to Danielle’s house. I think they’d go to Danielle’s house cuz she had an empty house at home, whereas he lived with his 14 year old daughter and I think his mother too, right? So to me, a couple who wants some privacy would go to the empty house instead of having an awkward moment around mom & daughter….ive tried to search the many ponds from Google Maps, and some u can tell right away are too shallow. In 2006 or whenever this was Danielle’s neighborhood looked very diff than it does today—less houses & developments. There are several ponds in her area—some which now reside in people’s backyards which you can’t tell from Maps how deep they are.
    Please check the LandSat from the day of this disappearance and refine your searches based on possible routes to Danielle’s House. I wouldn’t waste more time in PA till you’ve exhausted Jersey. Ive heard the murder rumors too—that was real big back in the day but it’s just a theory cuz ppl were trying to speculate what could’ve happened to them, and the MOST likely spot that would happen is if they somehow took a wrong turn in Camden that night—IF they even took The Ben Frank over to Jersey…but y’all said that you exhausted 18 miles of the Delaware, so I assume y’all scoured the entire portion between both those Bridges.

    There’s a good possibility that they took the Walt Whitman too—it all depends on a persons preference. I highly doubt they’d take the Betsy Ross—it just doesn’t make sense bc that’s North & the had to head South East to get to Danielle’s. Them being on South St I’d think getting onto Ben would be the most likely bet, but then you have to go past Camden and head south anyways, so maybe Richard decided to take The Whitman and go that way to cross into Jersey, and if so, there’s even MORE ponds en route to Danielle’s that way. I’m going to revisit my notes from when I was Google Earthing and I’ll reply in THIS comment below with coordinates or intersections near bodies of water that could’ve been their possible route to do my part & help you out…

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this or If you guys travel in the US but here in San fransisco California a radio station host by the name JV went missing in February and I have a feeling he jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge or another bridge in San Fran. If you can can you guys please check the water out here to see if you can find his body?😔we’re all devastated about his disappearance out here.

  49. They came from a bar late at night they possibly got confused because of drinking while driving. They could have driven anywhere. Maybe, they got car jacked and their bodies could be buried in a shallow grave. Hopefully not but anything is possible. Great work thank you for doing this. I wish I could watch more of these videos, but wow it's extremely sad to watch them. God bless you guys. It really takes some seriously special people to work these cases.
