Love this build so far
As a V160 Getrag owner, I get the reference at the beginning of this video. 6 speed box ftw
A lot of autos you’re able to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel so it doesn’t leak I guess there’s no way to do that with this car first time seeing this done I’m used to domestic automatic transmission
Me watching this video trying to walk you through it
Ok already, your talking to much 😮
Adam all you needed was a freaking funnel man
Something I do when draining oil out of places where it is going to go every where; is to put a flattened cardboard box or folded up blue shop towels and make a funnel/chute.
Jimmy Oaks redone his porches engine. Snd can probably tell you everything that he done. He also put his on a link and added link sensors so he could monitor things
This is the first video of yours I've seen. On the intro I was just about to click off because you showed a torque converter leaking and I was just disappointed it was an auto.
But I left it on for just a second longer and I found out you're doing a manual swap and now I'm watching the whole thing.
i have no clue about car stuffs. arent there blankets with magnets in them to put on the body to protect it.?
Love watching this "Thin Mint" series. While winging it is entertaining, you should really buy the Bentley manual for the 964.
Adam adam adam adam adam adam adam adam hahaha
The crescent wrench is a feature not a hack…. Cuz my crescent wrench doesn't have that. 😢
Its not a hack if thats how your supposed to use the tool……
Hit wosp up for a high torque starter motor and high output billet alternator !
i keep seeing you at circle k but i never come up to you i get nervous fsr
I love that Sean's aesthetic is "barbequed"
11:45 strap that thing down tippy cars on lifts are scary
Just Adam could spend 10 years working on cars and just now realize how an adjustable wrench works
I think it’s cool that they cared so much about spilling fluids. Means they care for their shop.
Seeing how people you so-rounded yourself with react to an oil spill in a controlled environment that I know won’t contaminate anything makes me have allot more respect for you and your team. I enjoy watching you getting involved in the build of your cars. ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾
Everyone else was so much more concerned and Adams like what it's just a little bit of ATF like chilling guys don't worry I know the guy that owns the place
just got myself a 964 lol doing my overhaul too 😅
Need to invest in some fender covers for the sensitive paint cars ðŸ‘
Elmo says… Larry David punches like a girl…😂…I'm a fan of fans, #noonlyfans and need a colourmatched cracked mangensium fan to put in the cave so my wife and kids can also be a fan of fans.
8:50 he coulve put a funnel at least lol
Instead of sitting there jacking the cherry picker for 30 minutes. You can pull/push the arm up and hold it and wait 30 seconds for the fluid to catch up. Then youre ready to use it!
You bring up your back problems. I went through a very bad back period. It ended up being hip problems caused by lack of arch support. Started working on my arches and doing hip stretches and resistance moves. Cleared it all up. I hope you see this and give it a try. I know how terrible it can make basic living.
Beautiful car that will get even better 😊

More mechanic work from Adam
Hi James . Really love your vids but I think you should make more outside car vids
The journey will be fun to follow. Now you got me watching Jimmy Oakes’s channel as well. 🫵ðŸ‘
This is going to be fun. Brings back memories of buying a used KX 250 that was not up to par and stripped it down to the bare frame and stared from a clean blank slate. Piece by piece I made that thing like new. It was 5 to 10 years older than anything my riding buds had, but looked, ran, and performed better than anything they had. Took my time over the whole winter and enjoyed every minute of it. Self accomplishment. Nothing better.
