The peace group CodePink organized a protest on the Washington DC Mall, just prior to Trump’s militarized Independence Day extravaganza. The protest featured the ‘Baby Trump’ balloon from London, many speakers, and a reading of Frederick Douglass’ speech, “What To The Slave Is The 4th Of July?”
