  1. Here's a really great idea! Why not, stop the government from bashing electric scooters and putting restrictions on them and also stop putting ridiculous restrictions on electric bikes and other personal electric vehicles. This way people will actually WANT to buy them instead of going "Hmmmm nah too slow, or if I buy one I will get raped by the police". Building something that weighs 25 kg's that will get you about 60 miles on 10 pence/ 15 nickels of electricity wont be anyway near as harmful to the environment as building say an electric car or a normal car for that matter. Running them will be almost nothing as it requires very little energy to move a small vehicle etc. Rite now Ebike's, electric scooters and other electrical vehicles are being bashed by the government, bashed by the safety fags! and bashed by the general public who don't want to let go of there precious cars, or have them potentially restricted by an abundance of electrical vehicles on the roads. Then maybe, and its a bit far fetched, but perhaps we might stand a chance at stopping the earth from turning into a giant sweaty turd gap!

  6. I feel like I'm living in some kind of dystopia. I feel like in any other world, if humanity was faced with an existential crisis, people would revolt… at the very least, they would do SOMETHING. But here we are, all going to work, hardly making a change in the direction we're racing to. We need a new system, and this old one needs to die. Gramsci has a great line: "the old world is dying, the new world is struggling to be born – now is the time of monsters."

A study back in 80s set in Antarctica BEFORE this weather bulls*** started up with Gore foundvthat the middle ages was Twice as warm as it is today ("Must of been ALL those knights better tax them!") Other studies as well that were done BEFORE Al Gore as well as today also relay information that the earth goes into a kind of 'dance' a 4 step process with the sun as well as solar flares etc etc. Remember fossilized tropical plants have been found as well….IN the arctic circle.

    Regarding AOC's Green New Deal it is backed by BP…ask yourself WHY is a carbon emitting corporation backing this…a NEW FORM of fuel that they want to push…GMO algae on steroids…already we know the dangers of GMO's that is those who are aware and see through the propaganda bullshit such as this! Wakeup Canada damned fools!

    Imagine the world's water supply immaginevthe death and destruction if genetically engineered algae "got loose" u ever hear of blie-green algae TOXIC algae that chokes out ALL LIFE where it grows…immagime GMO ALGAE on STEROIDS. Are you FOOL enough to believe their happy little fairy tale when it breaks into MSM…question every thing that is IF YOU CAN!

  12. You can go on NOAA and look at the data. The world isn't warming. 2016 was the only year over +1 degree in recent history. The ice extent has increased since 2016. The past 3 years clearly shows that something is wrong with the models.

  13. Alaska has lost half a million acres a year to fires for as long as records have been kept. Droughts that lasted centuries, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes–change and drama are the norm for this earth. And people have managed to thrive everywhere except Antarctica.
    The climate is an excuse for totalitarians to seize the total control they've always lusted for. Nothing is more extravagant, polluting, and wasteful than government.

  18. Half of the "Great Barrier Reef" died in just two years — 2016 & 2017 because of warmer Seas. In Glacier National Park in NW USA the number of glaciers has dropped from 150 glaciers down to 26 over the last 80 years. The Permafrost and Siberian Tundra are melting releasing Methane. Indigenous peoples in Siberia see rapid major changes in their landscape year to year — they say, "The Earth is dying".

  19. There are also chemicals and plastics and fertilizers associated with oil. There is an anti Canadian twist to the anti oil campaign. The idea that Canada is warming faster than others sounds a little funny also. The government SHOULD manage pipelines and charge usage fees and also spearhead profitable renewables investment by the oil producers as a replacement for the CO2 tax. Pollution control is critical but we are a ways away from ignoring the need for pipelines

  23. Carbon tax only works on fossil fuel industry not joe public. Irish govt. pushing carbon tax while allowing fossil fuel corporations (lots of lobbying) to drill off west coast. All the while stopping a bill from going through parliament to stop drilling in Irish waters. Some in the green movement don't get how these taxes affect middle/low income people worst.

  26. Greenpeace is a dangerous joke. When they lie about the original founder that tells me everything i need to know about them. I live in Calgary and my question is why are we getting less chinooks in the winter with lower degrees. They use to get up to 16 degrees now we are lucky to reach 8 degrees. Seems to me its getting colder. This is just more propaganda. Thought i could trust this channel.

When you measure temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere, the higher the latitude (the father North you go) the higher the temperature anomalies.The Arctic is experiencing temperatures 5 deg.C higher than what's happening in the mid-latitudes. A warming Arctic is causing the Jet Stream to meander and as it gets warmer it is causing the amplitude of the meandering to increase. The West Coast ridge that forms from the meandering causes high pressure fronts that causes droughts and the troughs in the Midwest form low pressure fronts. The low pressure fronts mix with water vapor from an extremely warm Gulf and you have flooding Rains. If you look at the weather pattern for this Winter you will see unusually cold weather in Canada and the US in the Midwest trough. The cold air were lobes that had fractured off of the Polar vortex which is the result of a warming Arctic. I just watched two videos about a report that measured Water vapor, Methane and Nitrous Oxide levels in the Alaskan permafrost. The report was done in 2013 and because permafrost thawing wasn't a major concern back then the experiment only looked at the Methane and Water Vapor data. Scientist are finding out that there are large releases of NOx happening in the Arctic so scientist re-examined the 2013 report and found that Alaska is emitting more NOx than was first believed. NOx is a more powerful Greenhouse gas than Methane or CO2 , NOx depletes Ozone in the Stratosphere and melting permafrost has large amounts of Nitrogen in it. Canada and the US have decided the solution to this climate emergency is to ignore it.

    Carbon Taxes and Green New Deals are treatments for symptoms of the true predicament we find ourselves in and until we address the root cause nothing changes. The world is going to have to change from endless growth to a resilient way of life. For every one barrel of oil from Canada's Tar Sands that is used for extraction; six barrels are extracted. For every one barrel of Fracked oil used for extracting; five barrels are extracted. With conventional oil the extraction ratio is as high as 100 to 1 (Saudi extraction); Tar Sands and Fracking is scraping the bottom of the barrel. The rate of return on investment isn't there but we live in a new world of Finance Capitalism where money can be printed out of thin air. Profits get trumped by the growth narrative. If the energy can expand and grow it doesn't matter about the cost. Anglo-American Capitalism is the Cancer; a Cancer that doesn't relate to the host or the fact that if the host dies it dies with it. I can't remember if it was your guest that said this but it explains our predicament very well "you can't wake up someone that is faking that they are asleep."

  34. From.all.the methane belching out of their pipelines. This is also happening in every pipeline around the world. Methane is much more dangerous than CO2. It takes much less methane to heat up our planet than C02 & methane heats much faster. It has been proven methane belches out of every pipeline.

The effects of climate change upon B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan will be devastating to farmers and with the right wing leaders in both Alberta and Saskatchewan it looks like billions will have to be paid out to farmers in the years to come not to mention the billions that will go towards fighting forest fires, dealing with more flooding and compensating people who are turned down from insurers because they don't have adequate insurance coverage.

  46. We need to have a holistic approach to environmental protection and improvement. Buying into the climate warming/change hysteria is a distraction from the many attacks on the environment that need to be addressed that no one is talking about. CO2 is actually good for plants. NASA has noticed the greening of the planet, but it is keeping it hushed, though they did report it.

    This poly-sci guy doesn't know what he is talking about and way over his head as far as critical science analysis goes. Just another talking head preaching climate hysteria.
