1. Samsung had that feature built-in for a long time with their own app for the launcher. Such option to show a desktop on a secondary screen has been available to everyone in the dev settings for years, but never widely used.

8. For a nerd that's a technically interesting thing, but nothing more. And who'd use it? You'll need a monitor and where there's a monitor there'll be most likely a decent PC or laptop nearby. With a dedicated desktop OS. ASUS had an interesting thing quite a few years back where you could insert a mobile phone into the back of a touchscreen monitor to convert that into a tablet. Clever idea at a high price with the disadvantage that the next-gen phone wouldn't fit anymore. The usual Android problem.
   Google should unify Android and ChromeOS and start from there instead of introducing another dead-end project for which they'll lose interest very quickly, as usual.

9. "Nothing is better than Samsung Dex". Okay, I haven't used a Huawei phone since they got banned from using a bunch of things. But back in the day when you needed a special dock to use Samsung Dex, Huawei had a proper desktop mode already, with labeled windows, task bar, resizable windows and movable windows. At least back then it was a lot better than Dex.

13. Dex is mad underrated. Its one of those features that you either never use, or you use all the time !

14. I need 4k and 120hz support for android desktop mode… that'll heat it up a bunch though yes.
