The people who are crying are pathetic… how about gas prices and rent
How can Beyonce "appropriate" a music genre that her culture created?
Nice advertisement. lol
It was r&b/pop with a country costume
The BANJO is an African instrument that is essential in country music 🎶 and blacks are rooted in this tradition.
not a fan of country but does comes across as a effort to enter a genre that is more popular then her own to generate a bigger fanbase to increase he income for herself. I am sure to people that like that music there is more to country then sticking a sparkly hat and outfit on.
This is nothing new when pop stars explore a fan's sacred genre.
Country music IS SOUTHERN "BLACK" MUSIC, they learned it from Southern "blacks"!!!
Not country at alll
Bri should be fired!!
Let’s be honest. Beyoncé’s supposed collection of country music is absolutely terrible. So bad, in fact, many are wondering if this was a serious effort or something of an attempt to ridicule the genre.
It’s crazy that there are people suggesting her poor reception in country music is about something other than her performance! She lacks energy, range or intonation appropriate to the songs. And the lyrics on new material are almost as embarrassingly bad as the vocals!
She's not across over artist her audience basically is r&b not pop artist okay Taylor Swift has a larger audience Taylor Swift have both country and pop patella does not own r&b even though she does have some fans from r&b
And I don't even like the album but I didn't even listen to it only the few songs but I don't not Beyonce fan okay she's a great entertainer but she's not a great singer
Please Lionel Richie was inducted to the hall of a country music by Kenny Rogers okay just stop with the nonsense Beyonce consider yourself down who cares she made a country song who gives a darn
Aaron Neville, Darius Rucker Valerie June please Beyonce's not breaking down barriers except for the people that do not know or not over where country music begin in Bristol Tennessee 1927 a black man as recorded by the library of Congress I wish black people would enlighten black people in the world
All that money and you're still living in "Victimhood".
Beyonce had a point to make. She knocked it out of the ballpark. Her answer to the chilly reception she got at the CMA a few years ago, is quite nice to listen to. Music is universal it belongs to everybody. If an artist wants to try a new genre, they should go for it! There is no reason Black ladies should not sing Country if they wish. This has been a long time coming. To those who are having a problem with" Cowboy Carter". This is 2024 not the 1950's. get with the program! As for Miley she is a force to be reckoned with! She was just shaking off "Hannah Montana" That is why she was zig zagging in her career. Her musical journey has brought out hits enjoyable to listen to as well. My point is no singer should be boxed into just singing one genre. Some of the most timeless music comes from the journeys artists go through to entertain us. We should never mess with their process.
But…SHE SELLS!
She’s an icon!! If she wasn’t black we wouldn’t see these comments
"African roots of the genre" – the genre's roots are mostly in Irish and Scotch-Irish folk
Hoodie & and the blowfish?
It's fascinating how genetically diverse Americans are. It's baffling that racism persists despite the fact that we're all essentially composed of the same genetic materials, albeit in varying proportions.
