The whole world is polluting the planet and JB some how thinks the US is gonna save the whole world from annihilation with his Green policies while the rest of world keeps polluting the world.
17k views in 3 weeks I knew it your show is not appealing . Do you know why? IMO you are on the wrong side of almost every issue . That makes you unpopular and wrong . The third strike is your snarky arrogance .
The administration is trying to force the ev change over before the market and infrastructure is ready for it. This kind of interventionism is always disastrous.
Don't fool yourselves this is about controlling your ability to move about freely. What else could it be?
We care about the poor, so let's make them buy 40k+ cars that depending on where you live could be a terrible Idea!
Cars are not the top contributors of c02…they are an impact but they are like 30% of the total
Leftists use the exact same language and talking points “carrot and stick” duh
Carbon is required for life to exist. Oil is also a renewable source of energy. Everything they tell us is a lie. EVERYTHING.
Cars are a very small emitter of CO2.
No joke bought two gas Toyotas in the last year. I’ll have my gas cars for a long time. Only drive like 5 …. Maybe 6000 miles a year. One of them is a 2023 Tacoma TRD Off Road.
I’ll be polluting well after the all electric is mandated.
Since the White House (Biden) is pushing EV's make "The Beast" an electric vehicle.
Climate change is a hoax. Wake up people.
Ah yes, the people who buy beach front houses complain about rising sea levels. The people who use private jets that give off more emissions than a city of people will ever make in their life time in a year are telling you to buy a whole new car w/o even caring about your financial situation. The people who get the best of the best life is telling you the economy is fine and you should be happy. Love the government, best thing in the world.
EVs are expensive, we don't have the infrastructure to charge or power them, once the battery dies most people just toss them bc the batteries are prohibitively expensive…I could go on and on…
1- we do not have the energy grid to handle this policy. Blackouts will become common.
2- the cost of your home power bill will triple, maybe quadruple to pay to meet that forced demand.
3- EVs are not any better for the environment due to what it takes to make a battery and then destroy a battery.
4-Mother Earth laughs at humans who think they are going to stop her from melting all her ice.
Cars are dumb. I don't want a gas one or an electric one. I want a city it's safe and pleasant to walk and cycle in, and that means there can't be cars, because cars aren't safe where humans are trying to exist, and their tires make too much noise when they go over 25 mph.
Retroactive justice for an imaginary crime of transportation innovation?
Good facts Amber, and good pts for u too Jessica. Jessica, please review Biden policies vs energy prices. Also review the reality of EVs.
I live in the North. Not getting an EV. Not good in the winter.
Go ask germans how much they're loving their windmills 👍 …oh yeah they're economtbhas fallen out if the #1 spot b/c they're going thru an energy crisis b/c they can't get the natural gas they need to keep their infrastructure going.
As a life long dem, i'm convinced dems have gone fully mental & need to be put in timeout.
End the insanity. The only way people buy electric cars is if they're subsidized. So they're not a viable product. And don't tell me electric cars are better w/ all the lead poisoning in children by battery recycling plants. This is just like iphone users saying they're better while kids making the phones are jumping from the factory roof.
EVs and flooding don't mix, especially with sea water.
EVs alone have tripled China battery and lithium exports.
Compressed air works, too.
In India they hook air compressors up to their car's gas tank and leave it on all night to fill the tank.
Last l heard, this produced enough energy to go 100 miles.
Every time Jessica talks about any issue, she demonstrates how shallow her thinking is. As much as I can't believe I am saying this, but I would rather listen to Briahna. At least she has some actual intellectual basis for her socialist views.
a bloodbath in the auto industry will soon occur. The companies will build the EVs in China.
Keep the government out of it and let the market determine what is wanted or needed.
Watching Jessica try to explain industrial economics and energy systems is kinda like watching a Goldwish try to explain astro physics…
Electric vehicles are not only unfeasible on a mass scale, their adoption is based on a fraudulent theory of anthropogenic (i.e. man-made) global warming. The only solution is Hydrogen-powered vehicles based on an Atomic Energy grid.
I recently traveled to California and had booked a rental car. I was provided with an EV. It was an awful experience. These cars are not practical unless you have your own charging system in your home garage. Their driving distance is limited; they take hours to charge, and the charging stations can be difficult to find and not always operating. I have better things to do with my time while on vacation. I will never purchase one of these cars or rent one again. It's just one big scam.
I wonder what they think about the government mandate that force all legacy automakers to sell their vehicles only to flippers called dealers? Hmmm.
A ruler can dictate what American should/should not use/have?
Love your energy and passion, Ka, but again you fell into your usual fact-free rant about a subject that you care a lot about but don't know anything about – in this case the operations and profitability of energy companies. Energy companies do not have "astronomical" profit margins. Far from it, they are far behind most U.S. industries (source: company annual reports and filings).
